@@PeterLawrenceGray oh ok. Thanks. Those are pretty easy to drive. If I might bother you one more time... Is the 88m headphone out as loud as the one on the Focusrite?
@@PietroFGReal Beyond phenomenal!!!! It is only a 1% improvement over the Focusright, but in music, a millimeter is a mile. And music is cumulative. If you gain 1% from your: mic, preamp, guitars, bass, drums, vocals, etc. Cumulatively over 24 tracks, it is extremely meaningful....especially when ALL 24 tracks are run through your preamp. It is the heart of what we are doing. In my opinion, it's one of the best places to put our money.
Happy to talk gear with you! I'd say it's comparable or slightly louder and performs better with higher gain
That’s quite an upgrade congratulations 👌
How's the headphone amp? Will it power DT770 @250 ohms?
Way more technical than I can answer. What ai can tell you is that it has performed gorgeously for me, in pretty much every way
@@PeterLawrenceGray what headphones are you using?
@shannonadkinsmusic5767 Sony MDR7506 Professional Large Diaphragm Headphone

My 88M doesn't have a hump on the top. Yours looks unusual, Peter. It might just be an air pocket but I'd return it for another.
Interestingly enough, I had that exact problem. When my guitar cable was looped on top, there was a hum. Have you also had issues with EMI?
Other than that, it's been flawless....
Hi Peter, it's been just over a month since the release of this video. How are you finding the interface so far?
Very observant and 100% correct. I complained to the seller and was 25% cash back.

@@PeterLawrenceGray that makes sense! Thank you for your thorough answer 🙏
Virtually none. Less than the Focusrite
