- Easily one of the best characters introduced with Halo Infinite, here are the extracted lines from Glibnub, the Propaganda Grunt from Halo Infinite.
This video took me a very long time to get done, mainly due to the fact that:
a) there are just so many lines
b) I wanted to subtitle all of the lines
Hopefully all that effort was worth it, because all in all, I worked on this video for a lot of hours on end without taking any breaks which certainly is making me feel very burnt out.

Glibnub the comms officer should be an actual character in the next campaign DLC/expansion be it a main antagonist or even Chief's ally since he's probably the type to join the Master Chief out of sheer cowardice.
It would be a great way to reintroduce the grunt goblin!
Wait his name is glibnub? Also that sounds kinda neat, he’d be giving chief information and be begging for saftey, with him only allowed due to him being just a propaganda officer, and being pretty useful. Though he would probably end up dying brutally by the hands of brutes should he be caught, and most likely, it would happen.

If I'm not wrong one of his lines indicates he might know or be friends with the arbiter

@@LockeLynx the only reason why the original games got M ratings was because of the flood. The flood was grotesque graphic morphed human bodies. Once the flood is out of the picture you're just shooting strange looking aliens that have unrealistic colored blood. And as for Halo 4 being rated M it's because of that one cutscene where everybody gets disintegrated.

This grunt is incredibly good at his job. Calling out marines by their name ,rank, and squad names is a great way to make things personal and hopeless.

I feel sad when he’s pretty much begging chief to not destroy the towers due to him losing his job, and possibly either being sent out to fight or them just deeming him useless and brutes probably just use him for their entertainment. And when crying, that just makes it even worse. Though somewhere deep down, I feel like hell do alright, and may just get more to do when they build more propaganda towers, till then, he’ll have to wait.
Yeah I feel the same I don’t know why I care about him so much but I do get sad when he starts breaking down and I really hope he either lives or becomes chiefs ally
@@gfff2096 he’s most likely alright, due to the banished dealing with new leadership at the moment, rather than propaganda comms
Don't feel bad they won't kill him, chief annihilated most of the banished and they can't afford to lose more personnel

I love how most if not all of these are just really well done 4th wall breaks, man Grunts are just the best! Also xbox is cannon in the halo universe which just makes it better🤣🤣

there's no much dialogue for other species, i think Grunt is more a comedian than a cannon fodder on Infinite

They wouldn’t be. Swears are a mediocre writer’s way of adding tension and humour.

I've been waiting for extracted dialogue since the game came out! Love how most of this wouldn't even qualify as 'propaganda' despite the tower being named that lol.

I was a little bummed that Joe didn’t seem to voice any of the grunts in the game, but he’s *definitely* voicing at least some of the propaganda lines and that makes me so happy.

LASO isn't that bad in this game. Tremonious is pretty much the hardest part of it. After that grab the tank cannon gun and you'll pretty much roll through the rest of the game

Once you get to the open world segment you grapple up to the downed frigate, find the front turret and swap your weapon for the cannon at the end of the barrel

There's plenty of footage out there of it. And yes, if you swap it for another weapon you will lose it.
This grunt really spits some truth sometimes.

I wonder how many people didn't care about the marine side missions and probably will never complete them. It's pretty funny but also sad how true these words are.

No, the dialogue says something about being psychic, then references plugging a second controller. That's a reference of Psycho Mantis' fight in Metal Gear Solid, Psycho Mantis would read all of your imputs from the 1st slot controller and act accordingly, so you had to plug a controller to the second slot so he can't read your every move
