Where.....to sleep? Just like the movie?

This song to me represents how short life is and how quickly it can flash before your eyes. One second you’re a young innocent child, the next you’re old and grey. The beginning of this song is your “inception”, being born. And as the song ends it is accepting death and moving towards the light, then it’s over. This song reminds me to not take life for granted, go after everything you want and all your goals, and to appreciate every moment, for life itself, is the greatest blessing there is ❤

Not sure if Nolan is the Hans Zimmer of Cinema or Hans Zimmer is Nolan of Music.
I'd argue both !
Simple answer:
yes
Nolan could never do a Lion King or Black Hawk Down, or a Bladerunner though soooo... Hans wins
@@zamon1492 I mean... I think he probably could. Not the Lion King, but he could do a brilliant Black Hawk Down or Bladerunner.

So clever the way each phrase feels like a wave on the beach, advancing and then receding. A masterpiece.

@@martinm.1967 Oh, I wish. For me, the music spells imminent doom. Amazing how it can such different effects on people.
This has to be one of Zimmer's most brilliant scores. The fact that the whole song is based off of only four notes and yet turned out so beautiful is incredible. Similar to what he did for interstellar, Hans Zimmer did for Time what John Williams did for Jaws.
I think James Horner is great too!
John Williams songs make you feel the essence of what it is to be human while Hans Zimmer songs make you feel part of a greater cosmic undertaking.

This is Han's ultimate piece of music
I just finished watching Inception again and now that i'm older I really see how emotional the ending is. It didn't affect me as much back when I first saw the movie but now that i'm at an age where most people have kids, I felt something twinge in my heart when I saw his kids finally turn around and look at him. That was so beautiful. This song is a masterpiece and so is that movie.
It made me want kids when I saw it for the first time, still want them now but probably too old in this life
Makes me legit want to go to an orchestra. Been to plenty of clubs and festivals, think its time for a change.
orchestras are amazing. you have to go to one, at least once. not only is it amazing to listen to, it's a joy to play in
i went to an orchestra and they played this it was amazing i recommend you go to one asap you wont regret it
Same here👍
I've had the pleasure of hearing, and performing in, some orchestras. Not all orchestral music has this cinematic quality/style, but when you do go, I'd encourage you to close your eyes and imagine what kind of scene might be unfolding before you, if there were imagery with the music. IMO orchestral music is to modern songwriting as novels are to movies; here there be freedom to imagine.
This gives me goosebumps 👌

Hopeless land theme music
After my final exam back in 2011, I had this on my ipod and listened to it as I walked down the hallways of my high school for the last time. I took the long rout around and timed it so the song ended as the door closed behind me. This song has forever imprinted that day on my mind. It's from a movie that was honestly just OK. But this song is now the embodiment of my transition from school to proper adulthood. Music truly does make life more fun.

this feels like the moment where the Main character gives his life for the betterment of his friends, family, and the world

His name is Goku. A pure hearted warrior.
In the movie, his friends risked everything to save him just before this song leads us to his release from internal torment.
Back here after showing this movie in class the last few days for a psychology unit on dreams and consciousness. The kids told me the soundtrack had "no right to go this hard." and I have never felt so seen.
