Girl, you are married to a straight up comedian!😃. Listen, any trees taller than your house is a killer tree! We have skyscrapers here. If they fall, they take out my home and the neighbors! If you plant any, make sure you take into account how tall they will grow.
He is crazy! I hate when he imitates me in that voice. 🤣 And those trees were a disaster waiting to happen! We will definitely be mindful of the height on any future trees. ~V
They were dead trees. Having that many dead trees in our yard, clustered together (many very close to our house) was a hazard. The house was built on an old a Christmas tree farm and the trees weren’t meant to grow that tall. They were supposed to be cut down years ago. But the land turned into a subdivision. We left the two trees that seemed to be fairly healthy.
Plant cypress trees around your property line but give them 15-20 feet all the way around. Great hiding trees too. I need a company to cut down hickory and oak for lumber. For free. I'm dreaming of course.

The professionals taking down the trees told us they were almost all dead. The house was built on an old Christmas tree farm and those trees were meant to be cut down many years ago, not grow that tall. We were also told they could have become a hazard to our home and children. One large one was on the verge of collapsing and bringing down several other trees. So for us, it’s definitely a good thing. We will also be planting new trees that will have a chance to grow healthy with proper spacing.
@@LivinOurDreamz ok i feel better now. i really love trees. i grew a mini orchard once just from all the seeds from my groceries. i wasn't trying to be rude. i'm happy for you guys and i really love your channel. ☺☃
We are going to plant trees along the property line to regain the privacy. And because those trees were dead and their were so many, that property didn’t sell and we were able to get it under asking price. It definitely didn’t help the property value in this scenario.
You guys are accomplishing your goals , congratulations. Everything is looking good ... Thanks for sharing...
Thank you! It feels good to see everything coming together as we hoped!
I love trees too, but not so many close to a home and that many! The roots can affect the homes plumbing.
Right!

Shrubs might give you the privacy, because some grow 15 feet tall. Just a thought, understand the sun light issues
Appreciate the suggestion! We’ll explore that option. We’re still trying to figure out what we want to replace the trees with.
Oh no I love trees 🥺

Thanks for tree suggestion! We’re looking forward to replanting and getting some privacy back!

Merry Christmas you guys. ❤
Merry Christmas to you too!
So glad you guys decided to keep doing the videos ☺️ Thank you!
We’re glad you feel that way! It’s been nice to document what’s going on in our lives and family and go in this new direction.
Hi Arizona dreamz how is your winter break going on? And how cold has it been there?
Everything is good. It’s been in the 30s and 40s. Even an occasional day in the 50s. We haven’t had much snow yet either.

Bye bye trees 🌲
Can’t say they’ll be missed! That last windstorm we had made us a little nervous!
that’s sad . it takes so long for those trees to grow . that’s not happy news sorry

No worries. Understand your concern. Thanks for watching our channel!
Actually, a wooded lot increases your property value. You may be lowering your value by cutting them down and losing your privacy.

Dead trees are a hazard.
They are! We knew when we bought the house, removing them would need to be a top priority.
i hate trees they are butt ugly and messy and dangerous and make it cold ....for privacy build a fence you dont need a fire pit you need a fence!!!
Wish we could put up a fence. HOA doesn’t allow them. We will need to plant more trees along the property lines.
You hate trees? So weird.
