Brad, I finally bit the bullet and purchased this table. This video was the reason I found this excellent product. Worth every penny. No rattle, tight fight. Just installed it, can't wait to use it!
I've only recently "joined the Jeep club", these little projects look to make my new Jeep substantially more friendly for camping and such, the exact reason I chose a Jeep. Thanks!
I have a 2004 Jeep TJ. I bought the tailgate table for the JK and trimmed down the plastic covers on my tailgate to make it fit. Didn’t effect the functioning of my Jeep at all and now I have a very snazzy well built outback tailgate table on my TJ
After meeting you and Marco at last year's Easter Jeep Safari and seeing your Outback tailgate tables and then our new friend ead_jku also had one, we got one a month later back east. We love it. Haven't used it nearly as much as we'd like to, but it is solid and doesn't rattle a bit. As you said, a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and this is worth every penny. Stay Healthy and God Bless!
I'm glad that you took your Badge of Honor plaques off the outside of the Jeep. Much better location for them. That's where I have mine (but I don't have that very cool Outback table though).
Me too, i'm sitting in Louisiana and i had prepped trip from LA to Tahoe and some stops on the way. There is so much to do closer to LA too, but i wanted to see snow 1st leave south for summer...Stay safe...When i can't go i watch your videos, i have many notes and ideas because of them
Brad, I love your style and have been watching for months but I'm not a Jeep guy. Been wheeling in a '91 Explorer I purchased NEW in the fall of '90 (we're celebrating her 30th as we speak!). Getting ready to order my new Bronco. You've mentioned it in the past, but we all know that you are a true Jeeper. Maybe a future Coffee One-Take will have you talking about a buddy's vehicle upgrade, and maybe that vehicle won't be a Jeep.
First, I would like to wish you and your family a big thank you for doing your part regarding COVID-19 and staying home. I think everyone around the world is in this for the long haul. Second, I am really happy I found this video. Great information and product! I am definitely going to get one of these for my Jeep!
This Is the only mod I can afford at the moment buying my first used jeep put me on a really tight budget. But I'm looking forward to decking my jeep out like yours 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love that we have matching dents on our rear tailgate. Softens the blow of denting it the first week I had my JK with less than 100 miles. Great video!
Love the Badge of Honor insignias you have on your tailgate. Maybe you can explain them for those who do not know about Jeep's program. Love the videos, keep them coming.
I remember doing a triathlon with you in okinawa back in 2000. I served with 7th comm wire plt. Anyways I love your channel and good luck to you and your channel. Semper fi
Another "nice" video! Good to see simple in stalls, and how much enjoyment an old jeep can bring. I saved a lot of money buying a used Jeep WK a few years ago, and before that a used ZJ - which I put 300,000 miles on! sometimes the "small" improvements are the ones we enjoy and use the most. Happy Trails Brad & family!
Keep up the great videos Brad. During these times, where we’re stuck at home and can’t get out on a trail, your videos bring some comfort of what it was like in “the before”.
Just installed mine. Thanks for the inspiration and the instructions! I know you probably don’t have a relationship with Outback Adventures, but they should give you salesman of the year.
Brad, love your video's. I've learned so much from you. Thank you so much for sharing the knowledge you have. You were one of the first channels I subscribed to last year when my bride purchased a JKU and the addiction began. I think it was the one where you were mounting a roof rack to a JK and at that point our Jeep wasn't even in the driveway...and I couldn't tell you where the Rubicon was if asked to point to the map of where it was. We needed a rack to mount the kayak's to. We were Nubies so that wasn't going to work. Please keep up the great work and thank you for the content while we're house bound. Great idea to post something for the community to watch. Keeps our mind off current affairs. The "End is not near, it's just postponed". Speaking of which, Michael and Corrie from Overland Bound are doing daily video's to keep people going. Today was a future adventure planning guide. Giving people hope for the future. If you could give them a plug I think the whole off road/overland/non-asphalt community would benefit. In my many years these are times I've never experienced. We all have arms but some reach farther than others. Your arms are longer than most. Thank you again for the knowledge you pass on to us.
I would be afraid of stripping out the plastic blind nuts with a driver. I'm glad you showed this how to. Because I really thought it would be a lot harder! I am so amazed at how "easy" upgrades are to the different Jeeps! Thanks for another how to video. Because I agree with you: this should be something every Jeep should have for the very convenience it gives for so many things: make a sandwich, coffee or whatever! I saw the price of one of these on your website, and it is a bit pricey, but if yours has held up over time and the fact that it has a surface that can be kept sanitized, it is definitely worth paying the people who are selling them.
Really loved the table install and video. Especially liked the fact that you're doing it to your wife's 2-door. Monday I'm swinging by my local Jeep dealership and ordering my new Jeep JLR in Sarge Green.....hopefully. Did most of it over the phone and email. Love the 2-door. Miss my JKR Hardrock. Traded for a 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro in Army Green. Great truck...just not a Jeep.
Thanks for posting this Brad. I watched your video and read the directions and installation was a snap. Looking forward to using this table on our beach trips. My wife loves it!
I was just thinking the other day about what my favourite accessories are on my jeep and I couldn’t agree more, the outback tailgate table is an awesome product!
Love, love this table. I picked one up after seeing on one of your videos with marco about a year ago. It was one of my first mods and like you showed, very easy install. Well made product and most importantly it does not rattle or make any noise when secured.
I asked you what table you had at an SDJC run in January. Ordered mine the next day! It is awesome, rock solid with no rattles. We use it all the time.
Just an fyi, they sell these for the TJ, got a box sitting in the kitchen right now ready for the weekend (i.e. wfh :)), they just require some riv-nuts
Do you mind giving is a tour of your garage? It's so organized! I'd be interested in learning what you keep in it and what you use the most on your Jeeps.
You can count a Tebotusk and Outback table purchase to your channel's credit. LOL. Ordered both today, can't wait to use them in a couple months on the beach.
I don't think a lot of you tubers like yourself understand how your viewers like any content. You could practically rotate tires and we'd watch it, especially now during this time. Really glad you did this video. I thought the install was harder than it is. Gotta learn to use that clutch on the drill with plastic nuts. You didn't blow any out but a novice could easily.
I love your channel, and it is great to be able to work on a jeep wrangler during these current world events! I've been working on my Jk when I need a breath of fresh air

Hi Brad. This is Karthik from Bangalore, India. I have recently subscribed to your channel and I just love your videos and the details that go with it. I would really appreciate it if you could please also make a video on what type of clothing is suitable for different adventure trips you folks go out. I mean if it is a hot day, a rainy day etc. . What kind of footwear and what other preparations are required before you actually set out for an adventure. Love your videos and keep it coming
Brad, I have a question regarding this table. I appears to cover the vents in the rear door. Is there enough space for air to move through the vents? I'm glad you're bored. I enjoy watching your videos. They are informative and entertaining! Thanks for the effort you put into them.
That's a great question and something I was looking at while I installed it. I think there is still plenty of room for air to flow, but might be slightly less.... Never been any issues in the JK, but I'll follow up in a month or so and see if there are any noticeable changes in the JL.
I love the idea! But I got a Gladiator and the tailgate is different lol I wanna do a fold out table of some sort? I am a truck driver and I know air bags are a option but so far they haven’t come out with bolt on ones for the JT and I am more interested in building a suspension to help beef up the rear end to accommodate the weight and not just rely on air bags? I really looking for ideas from everyone to really compare to everything that is out there! And I will pick the best ones to build my sport
