Completely agree, Chinese manufacturer figures definitely deserve their place on MFC. Their quality and design work is top tier. With how popular the Myethos Miku one was, maybe now they'll consider adding them to the database.

I feel you on the Miku figures. Its the same for me with Rem & Ram. They get so many cute, affordable figures, but one just can't buy them all.
I know that "meh" feeling about popup parade figures. Me and my friends ordered the Elric brothers as a christmas gift for another friend... The metal colours on the finished figures look terrible! The prototype pictured looked so good Q,, Q

I know this was a couple months ago but I just wanted to let you know, if you love the Rita figure, you should keep an eye on the lineup of Genshin Impact figures coming out/being announced too, so far they're pretty incredible, and especially the bases on them are really nice. (They'll also likely go up a ton in price on the aftermarket) I also think Genshin and Honkai are worth a go at least once if you haven't played them yet, especially since if you enjoy Fate as a game you're probably well equipped to be prepared for the gacha portion of these two titles better than if you'd never played a gacha before

This month's amiami was one of my favorite ones so far! I completely agree with the Aqua pop up, that girl needs some major shading work. I really need to pick up that Miku nendo, I've been sitting on it for way too long 😩
Have two Makise Kurisu figurines, the Kotobukiya where she is sitting on cogs with her left leg pulled up and two Banpresto ones with the base with writing on it like a white board, accidentally ordered two way back but they were relatively cheap yet look awesome. Left one Banpresto version in its box and the other is standing between Rider, Sabre and Kiritsugu from Fate/Zero on a shelf :)
It would be really cool to see the surprisingly small 1/7 and surprisingly big 1/8 next to each other...
Bit of a missed opportunity not including it in the video, but Kurisu is about 22-23cm tall, while Rita is around 23-24cm (not counting the umbrella)

I definitely agree with you on the Kurisu figure. I find that the ones with more dynamic poses have other things going on with them, but the ones that have the better faces are mostly her just standing in place which is a little underwhelming.
Aaah the art and pins are so cute again, here I am looking these sellers up. And as sorry as I am for enabling, Rita is so pretty I'm so glad you picked her up!!

I totally agree with you about the Aqua figure! She looked very flat. Yeah, if GSC is advertising the Pop Up line to be better than prized figures, they definitely need to make sure to consistently show that. And I don't think you were being too harsh about criticizing those figures! It's better to be honest about it. If there was lacking aspects of it, me as an audience really appreciate hearing that feedback. It helps with decision making more for sure! And who knows? Maybe staff from these figure companies watch figure review videos to see what they can do better lol 😂 Though that one is a bit of a reach 😅 Also! I always love the little art haul you give us 🥺💖 Always adding on to my list of new artists I should look into! All those pins and prints look so cute 😩🙌🏼💞 Especially the Demon Slayer one!!! That artist is so good, omg 💘

And yeah the Kurisu looks funky I thought the same when I first saw her. The proportions are off - she's very skinny and her head is too tall. If you squish her head and face downwards and make it a bit smaller width wise she looks a lot better lol, I tried it in paint...

Oh, I didn't know that about the Hatsune Miku Korin Kimono Ver. Nendoroid, I just unboxed her this weekend and I love her!
The detail of the Kimono is fantastic and I love pearlescent finish on the color.
I got the RIta Rossweisse Figure back in January and I didn't notice that she so big, because she fits well with the other 1/8 scales I have...
stayed 'til the end, worth it to see Rita. Long time Honkai player, and I love the irony that I can likely buy Rita's figure cheaper than I can buy the character and costume it's based on.
I've starred long and hard at both the original and bootlegs of all the Mihoyo figures... they've got such big price tags. I think if I found Rita for 13000 or so, that'd be a pirce I'd pay
