I started seeing WSP when I was a sophomore in high school back in 1990. They have always been in my top five favorite bands! Especially for a live show! Fricken amazing! I used to see them at Red Rocks every time they came to Colorado. Also saw them once in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was blessed to meet them when they played at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen probably around 25 years ago when I was 22. And it felt so amazing to be able to do so. I am 47 now and I have lost count of all the shows I have seen! Loving them always and will most likely see them as often as possible for another 25 years when I’m 72. And another 25 years when I will be 97! I know, I know… they may not be around in 25 years so I will keep on going tile the music stops! Lol! LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU GUYS!
Nice to revisit i wasnt fully settled in my seat during this opener... And i was still comming up so the way it sounded confused me... I pulled it all together and was in tears for perfect day and starman... Perfect night besides the gag...gave me really bad vibes.. Getting pushed out into the cold streets of nola all confused was fuckedup... Couldn't find my uber was crossing highways walking threw scary neighborhoods...it was pretty fuckedup..
Best band in the business, for me at least!…and I listen/go watch all the good jam bands. WSP just stays right atop of my favorite bands. I think Billy end the Kids with Strings are my second right now, hope they keep that vibe going cause their music is killer. UNO is gonna be insane my brothas and sistas this weekend. UNO is a special arena and sacred to fans who have been to see many Halloween shows on those grounds. Widespread doesn’t take these shows lightly, everything is turned 🆙 to the max! Best place to spend a weekend with Panic…and will be the wildest as well. Exciting to say the least, never a dull moment on those grounds, amazing Lot unless it’s been recently changed. NOLA PD don’t even bother interfering with the party normally.
