Time for one of those TMI comments: a couple years ago, I was on a flight and didn't find out until I touched down in the evening that one of my best friends, who I knew primarily online but had met up with a few very meaningful times and often discussed future visits with, had passed away very suddenly while I was in the air. I woke up with this song in my head the next day, and ever since it's reminded me of him. That all being said, I can be picky about versions, but this cover is gorgeous and does it real justice.
I've listened to this cover every day since my friend passed away, every second of this cover is better than any version of this song I've ever heard. So I'm happy to say that listening to this cover on a daily basis and watching you two play music using an acoustic and vocals like me and her did does help me to remember her better. This cover is a big part of my life during my time of processing and grieving over her loss. Thank you so much!
