@Salsa Bila Re-reading your comment I think I get your point. My first comment was assuming that they were all innocent. Wishful thinking, they might not all be. I'm clueless, so for all I know they were all in on it--I would be VERY surprised if this was the case though. I think I'm safe to say that the agencies and the guys putting on the competition started it all, not the members, so the majority of the blame (if there is any to be had) should not be one the members.
Tbh the one I'm more worried about is Chaeyeon, since she worked so hard to debut since she auditioned for Kpop stars 3, SIXTEEN, and Produce 48. I would feel so bad to see her disband with her fellow members after she finally achieved her dream

i just feel bad for the others who deserved the spot more than some of the members in the final lineup... not saying that theyre not talented but some of the members of the final line up are just not ready for debut yet... i honestly feel that their live stages are a bit weak and underwhelming.. there are participants who are more ready to debut but were not given justice. All of the trainees deserved a spot of course, they were all hardworking and amazing! And the thing abt the looks is true too in a way.. some trainees were not korean standard and were overlooked&.. suhwan, one of my favs, was an independent trainee but he was one of the best singer and dancer in the show but he was short and he doesnt exzctly hv korean standard looks( i think hes SO ADORABLE tho, hes too nice for his own good) Jinhyuks spot was robbed (tho as a honey10 i rlly wanted him to come back to up10tion) Thats just my opinion😊
Wonyoung is always protected, considering the fact that her family is influential and loaded, i don't think wy has even been involved in the corruption made by the producers and starship entertainment. She was just also a mere innocent trainee who was used for izone to be a success. And they did, afterall.
She and other izone members have been getting treatment from a professional psychiatrist for their mental health (they said it themselves) so there's nothing to worry about. It was wy's decision to be an idol as early as her age, she can hold accountable for her actions and i know she's trying to be mature for such situations happening to their group right now.
Fans have said this from the start (when Jonghyun and Samuel didn’t get into Wannaone, when Kaeun and Miho didn’t get into Izone, etc...) but many called us delusional. We never hated the members who got in, most of us love and support the groups, but we’ve always found it wrong how the lineups changed drastically on the last episode. That’s mainly the reason why I didn’t bother watching ProduceX101, the rigging was so evident since earlier seasons
I kept telling myself not to watch Produce x 101 (this was after it was revealed that it was rigged) but I ended up watching it and actually was REALLY confused. In Produce 48 I think we could all tell it was rigged bc most of the ppl in higher ranks didn't make it into the line ups but in X1 the ppl who were good in the start made it (idk if you get what I mean) but if ali didn't know the voting was rigged, I would've totally believed it for X1

This makes sense why mnet always did “evil” and “selective” editing. I bet not only the votes were rigged but also who was getting screentime already decided. Cos you can rig someone all the way to the final line-up, but if no one knows who they are then they won’t even be popular and people would be even more suspicious. So they need to make sure to give those contestants enough screentime. I know all trainees worked hard despite some of them being rigged into the group, but what a waste of time, effort, stress, sleepless nights, energy etc for those who weren’t part of this and didn’t get to debut if it was already decided by producers that they wouldn’t make it.

i know pm nothing about television production, but as someone who watches a lot of competition shows (not just korean ones) i can say with like 80% certainty that is probably exactly how they edit. i've noticed the winners/finalists/semi-finalists always get the most screentime and are always in the previews, trailers, commercials, etc. the people who make it the farthest are shown a lot right from the very beginning. hell, you can even tell who WON'T survive those first episodes based on the same factors. i couldn't tell you the purpose of this tactic on shows where voting is not involved and winners are chosen by the show's judges; i can only assume it's to make the audience "fall in love" with the winners over the course of the show so by the time it ends you want them to win. 🤷♀️
Lol I think it's completely the opposite. They often tend to give some members more screentime so that they get more popular and then drop them from the final lineup because they gained some popularity and now can survive by themselves, and then often add the members who are talented and deserved to be in the final group but didn't get enough votes to do so. If that's the case we can't even say the selected members don't deserve to be in the final lineup at all!!!

yep, there is pretty solid evidence that some contestants were given little to no screentime with blatant discrimination even occurring at the site. Allegedly, a certain contestant who spoke out against the producers was not given a single second of air time.

Not to mention, they had very limited variety show appearances ever since they debuted. Honestly, I feel bad for them, sometimes I just wish the group would disband instead of them being miserable like this. It would get even messier if they won any Rookie awards, I don't even want to imagine how the Knetz will react.

X1 would have been even more succesfull, their debut was already such a big succes eventhough produce x 101 was the least popular season in terms of rating. Sakura is a top idol in Japan who has more than proved themselves and this whole thing is so demonstrably disrespectful to her. She could have stayed in Japan but had the grace to humble herself and retrain as a kpop idol and this is her reward for her humility.

Unfortunately supporting the artists means supporting the company that aided the rigging. Trust me when I tell you the lion's share of the money made goes to that company and not to the artists. I'd MUCH rather the artists be released from their contracts so they can then contract with someone else. These artists already have dedicated fans and have proven themselves capable of selling albums. I see no reason for other companies to refuse them.

Yep. In produce x 101. I think Minkyu and Jinhyuk will debut. Minkyu was always in top 10 in 11 eps but In the final, he dropped out and his rank is 17th, Minkyu looks like Gaeun and Jinhyuk looks like Miho, he tried to be high rank but in the final he dropped out. The first, I don't think Minhee and Hangul will debut .That is a big joke.

iz*one and x1 shouldn’t disband but unfortunately X1 did early this year (2020) i am very empathetic towards them and i wish all of the members of x1 the best. Iz*One on the other hand might disband within 2 years because of contract expiration. I hope all of these talented idols get to continue doing what they love. It is heartbreaking seeing that these innocent idols had to go through controversy and disband because of cheating most of them were unaware of. I wish them all the best!!

I wish that producer that manipulated would go jail for long but it look like he wont and also all those entertainment company like starship and mk would get in trouble but they didn’t. They kept appealing and the court date keep getting retrial. Probably just a slap on the risk and some are scapegoats getting the blame. When you got connections and big money ... reduces the crime penalty is easy. My family experience that before first handed. And i always knew these survival programs are most likely rigged because of business. They there to make money not let the citizen votes controls all the outcome. Lee Gaeun was like in the top five everytime in produce 48 and suddenly finished 14th in the last episode. On the other hand, Chaewon jumped from 19th to 10th and the last episode was her first time in the debuting position
When SKE48’s Matsui Jurina got rank B and HKT48’s Sakura got rank A I suspected it was rigged, when Sakura didn’t get rank number 1 I knew it was rigged for sure

I actually watched all seasons of Produce and PD48 was really that chaotic season. If you knew the amount of shocked people after watching it. Lol, even Somi and the trainers are shocked at the final result, you can see their reaction when Sakura didn't became first and Kaeun didn't make the final line-up. It's more surprising to know that people are actually shocked that those seasons are not rigged.
If the groups continue to keep going, they'll get hate and backlash especially from Knetz knowing that the votes were rigged. I don't think these idols are to blame and PDs just fxxxd it up so hard. It's unfair for both parties (the current final line-up and the 'true' winners.)

The fact that every single season has had a form of voting manipulation is crazy. I feel so bad for every single person that didn't make it and did make it into the groups. These companies use these trainees like pawns just to make a quick buck. I hope neither group disbands, I hope we get the reunions we're waiting for, and I hope p101 japan (which I believe mnet doesnt actually have any control over... thankfully) runs smoothly, along with the other survival shows that are still on going. Jeez, I just feel so bad for the members of both groups - they aren’t the ones to be faulted and yet they are going to suffer the most. I really hope that their fans will rally for them and that the support for them to stay together will be overwhelming... I know that’s probably impossible since Korean culture seems to revolve around saving face but it’s really not fair to the members of the two groups, fans aside. One could argue that it’s not fair to the other contestants who competed on the show, and while that may be true, what’s done is done. The groups have been wildly popular and the members have worked so, so hard. My heart goes out to them.

Those trainees and family who suffered should be given compensation or get to debut. Also regardless of where or not the members of both groups knew or not those who benefit have to leave or the groups disband.
IZ*ONE and X1 should continue and be managed by the company currently managing the group directly. All money that mnet was supposed to recieved should be directly be to the company, idol's companies or the idols themselves. Unless there is evidence that they knew, then they should not be attacked like this.
The companies are being investigated as well. Bribes had to come from somewhere so theyre trying to see who did what. Personally, I have a feeling X1 are basically done and I hope the members will be able to debut again with other groups/companies. Iz*one is a much harder situation to derermine. Regardless, I feel horrible for all the artists & trainees. They're the victins in all this.
I saw IzOne at Kcon LA and they slayed it. Regardless of the scandal, they are amazing artists and I really, really hope that they will all be cleared of wrongdoing in a public way so that they can keep going.

I recently started stanning IZ*ONE when X1 came out. I think the groups should keep going and not at the same time because these young idols have a lot of potential but if they keep going, they’re going to get a lot of pressure. Especially for the young members such as Wonyoung and Dohyun. I love both groups so much and it would be really really dejected or sorrowful to see these successful groups go ): but, I also think it’s up to the members to decide whether they want to keep going or stay as a group. Whatever the outcome is, I will forever support!

I’m a huge one it too and i’m seriously so scared, everyday, the entire day long i just think about x1 and what will happen to them, i’m so scared, i seriously won’t be able to cope if they disband or if some members pull out since they haven’t signed their contracts yet or if this goes on for much longer😭

With regards to IZ One - Vampire: The costumes are incredible, the castle interior is incredible. The sound quality and musicianship are absolutely top-notch. The accuracy on everything is perfect. The camera work is incredible. The girls are very beautiful. I've played it over 20 times on my keyboard. I think that video is a masterpiece.

I legit didn’t watch the recent season of Produce 101 when it came out cuz I was still heart broken over Wanna One and didn’t want to like a group just for them to disband so soon. Once I found out X1 had a 5 year contract I thought I was safe to stan cuz I wouldn’t get my heart broken so quickly...guess I could be wrong lol
101 talented boys and girls, I had my own picks during the show and I know how hard it is to witness their dreams getting shattered when they have been putting their everything in it. Some of my favorite trainees didn't make it but I'm satisfied with the current line up. We must not blame the kids, mnet is the one at fault. One its and Wiz*one let us all do our best and give these groups the love they deserve.
And that's the reason why I never watch the survival show. I'm way too much of a softie for these. I just sit it out and decide to love the group or not. Funny, Wanna one wasn't my thing but X1 seemed more balanced, although Yohan was the first they didn't put him in the center all the time and I liked it like this. I feel bad for them...
Even tho most of my picks didn't make the final line-up (Hyunbin, Kookheon, Yuvin, Sihun, BaekJin and a few others) I still love my X1 boys and I don't want them to go through all this mess, cause I think ALL of the members have proved to be worthy of their spot

Imagine working your ass off to debut, then actually debuting only to disband shortly after because the voting was rigged and you had to ask yourself if you're really talented and if you really deserved the chance to debut. not to mention at a young age too....

Let's all be aware of this fact, as much as I have been a fan of izone siince I saw Chaeyeon dancing too 'shower' in produce, I think they will disband. I hope they don't and I dont want to be a pessimistic person but Korea is a country that cares a lot about status, reputation and what others think. for the person who don't know its aalleeged the final 12 were: 1. Sakuraa(so she was robbed of 1st place) 2. Lee Chaeyeon( she went to 12th really disgusting) if only she knew how high she ranked she would have had more confidence 3.Lee Ga eun(was robbed of her place and I think she was replaced with Yuri) 4. Ah Yujin 5. Wang Yiren( I feel bad for her but she is doing well know in Everglow 6. Yabuki Nako 7. Kwon Eunbi 8. Choi Yena 9. Yang Wonyoung 10. Takeuchi Miyu(I knew she was robbed because come onn her voice is a god sent)btw(she was the girl hat sung with 3 other girls, they sang a japenese song wich later 3 other trainees sang the funny korean version of it. 11. Honda hitomi 12. Jang gYu Ri (she hac already debuted with another group at the time I think FROMIS so She would have been switched with nr 13 I think 13.Huh Yun Jin( She had a beautifull angellic voice and did a duet with Ga eun during the 1st evaluation) 14 Yamada Noe(she was the optimiistic cutie in produce the " Jooe" of produce) So in conclusion( Hyewon, Minju, Chaewon and Yuri shouldn't have debuted, I think it's sad for the people that got robbed of their spot or individual ranking). I think that this will make many people stay angry because many people already had their suspisciion with Hyewon, Minju and Yuri. Personally Izone is Izone but to be honest we can't deny the fact that atleast 4 people got robbed of their spot and I feel bad for them cause especially for Ga eun she really felt like that was her only chance and the crazy thing is is that she got 3rd and Chaeyeon was 2nd. Everything is a mess but I think that even if they were to continue they will disband soon cuse apperently in Wanna one Samuel was in the fiinal apperently and also one of the members of Nu'est.
Well I don't know how true this is but Yamada Noe wouldn't have made it because she didn't make it pass the top 20 and her popularity dropped after - similar to Goto Moe. I'm most suspicious of Hyewon, Minju, Chaewon and Yuri because their ranks were the most shocking of all. Mnet did Miyu dirty but I'm glad she's in a better place right now. Juri also debuted in a permanent group as opposed to a temporary group. I feel bad for these girls facing all the backlash, but If any of them knew about the rigging, they should face the consequences.
Did you notice that all the groups that were formed by produce101 ended up being disbanded?? The only group we have now is IZ*ONE, I hope nothing makes them separate... (Sorry for my bad english)
Previous groups are meant to disband as they only have certain periods in their contract and those have ended. Luckily, IZ*ONE is still promoting despite the issue and they disbanded X1 even though their contract was meant for 5 years.

my favs got out one by one and i was upset about it but that was the point of the survival show. Wasn't it obvious that it was rigged? I love my X1 boys, but during the show, you could literally see which members MNET was biased towards (except Wooseok and maybe Hangyul) Like, 90% of other trainees BARELY got screentime and were the victims of MSNAKE's evil editing (Taeeun being the prime example of that)
My thoughts on the topic: 1) I don't get why everyone is so fricking shocked and why the news was treated as if it was something unusual. It's a reality show, of course it's rigged. It's not good but it's not something that will change quickly, either. 2) X1 and Izone will not come back stronger. I think X1 will lose a whole lot since their Korean fanbase is really the only stable fanbase keeping them alive. They will be weaker than usual. Izone will probably be the same amount of strength. They already made an impact on both I-fans and Knetz. I'm sure I-fans will protect them. Knetz, however, will not give the two groups mercy. They love them but we all know that they will forget their suffering and shit on them right away. 3) I don't think that they should disband, but I don't want them to come back right now. It's still not completely accepted by everyone right now, so I'm sure that being back will only make then less loved. 4) They won't disband. I'm not 100% confident in this thought, but I'm pretty sure they'll be back. I'm not set on X1 but Izone will stay. They invested too much time and money into it already.

Fans have said this from the start (when Jonghyun and Samuel didn’t get into Wannaone, when Kaeun and Miho didn’t get into Izone, etc...) but many called us delusional. We never hated the members who got in, most of us love and support the groups, but we’ve always found it wrong how the lineups changed drastically on the last episode. That’s mainly the reason why I didn’t bother watching ProduceX101, the rigging was so evident since earlier seasons
I kept telling myself not to watch Produce x 101 (this was after it was revealed that it was rigged) but I ended up watching it and actually was REALLY confused. In Produce 48 I think we could all tell it was rigged bc most of the ppl in higher ranks didn't make it into the line ups but in X1 the ppl who were good in the start made it (idk if you get what I mean) but if ali didn't know the voting was rigged, I would've totally believed it for X1

This makes sense why mnet always did “evil” and “selective” editing. I bet not only the votes were rigged but also who was getting screentime already decided. Cos you can rig someone all the way to the final line-up, but if no one knows who they are then they won’t even be popular and people would be even more suspicious. So they need to make sure to give those contestants enough screentime.
I know all trainees worked hard despite some of them being rigged into the group, but what a waste of time, effort, stress, sleepless nights, energy etc for those who weren’t part of this and didn’t get to debut if it was already decided by producers that they wouldn’t make it.

i know pm nothing about television production, but as someone who watches a lot of competition shows (not just korean ones) i can say with like 80% certainty that is probably exactly how they edit. i've noticed the winners/finalists/semi-finalists always get the most screentime and are always in the previews, trailers, commercials, etc. the people who make it the farthest are shown a lot right from the very beginning. hell, you can even tell who WON'T survive those first episodes based on the same factors.
i couldn't tell you the purpose of this tactic on shows where voting is not involved and winners are chosen by the show's judges; i can only assume it's to make the audience "fall in love" with the winners over the course of the show so by the time it ends you want them to win. 🤷♀️

They often tend to give some members more screentime so that they get more popular and then drop them from the final lineup because they gained some popularity and now can survive by themselves, and then often add the members who are talented and deserved to be in the final group but didn't get enough votes to do so. If that's the case we can't even say the selected members don't deserve to be in the final lineup at all!!!

Sakura is a top idol in Japan who has more than proved themselves and this whole thing is so demonstrably disrespectful to her. She could have stayed in Japan but had the grace to humble herself and retrain as a kpop idol and this is her reward for her humility.

Yep. In produce x 101. I think Minkyu and Jinhyuk will debut. Minkyu was always in top 10 in 11 eps but In the final, he dropped out and his rank is 17th, Minkyu looks like Gaeun and Jinhyuk looks like Miho, he tried to be high rank but in the final he dropped out. The first, I don't think Minhee and Hangul will debut .That is a big joke.

I mean she was VERY happy and THANKFUL to debut with Chaeyeon even though she is 2nd, and tbh she is OVER RATED so why don’t give other trainees chance to be center in the group? I actually watched all seasons of Produce and PD48 was really that chaotic season. If you knew the amount of shocked people after watching it. Lol, even Somi and the trainers are shocked at the final result, you can see their reaction when Sakura didn't became first and Kaeun didn't make the final line-up. It's more surprising to know that people are actually shocked that those seasons are not rigged.

The fact that every single season has had a form of voting manipulation is crazy. I feel so bad for every single person that didn't make it and did make it into the groups. These companies use these trainees like pawns just to make a quick buck. I hope neither group disbands, I hope we get the reunions we're waiting for, and I hope p101 japan (which I believe mnet doesnt actually have any control over... thankfully) runs smoothly, along with the other survival shows that are still on going. This whole thing is a mess and the members getting hate from day one and even more now... it's sad. I feel bad

Jeez, I just feel so bad for the members of both groups - they aren’t the ones to be faulted and yet they are going to suffer the most. I really hope that their fans will rally for them and that the support for them to stay together will be overwhelming... I know that’s probably impossible since Korean culture seems to revolve around saving face but it’s really not fair to the members of the two groups, fans aside. One could argue that it’s not fair to the other contestants who competed on the show, and while that may be true, what’s done is done. The groups have been wildly popular and the members have worked so, so hard. My heart goes out to them.
So when someone that you love embezzels money will you say 'what's done is done'? This, is the real world, people who do bad things will be punished, these are facts not feelings.

Those trainees and family who suffered should be given compensation or get to debut. IZ*ONE and X1 should continue and be managed by the company currently managing the group directly. All money that mnet was supposed to recieved should be directly be to the company, idol's companies or the idols themselves.

I recently started stanning IZ*ONE when X1 came out. I think the groups should keep going and not at the same time because these young idols have a lot of potential but if they keep going, they’re going to get a lot of pressure. Especially for the young members such as Wonyoung and Dohyun. I love both groups so much and it would be really really dejected or sorrowful to see these successful groups go ): but, I also think it’s up to the members to decide whether they want to keep going or stay as a group. Whatever the outcome is, I will forever support!

I heard they removed her out and added 1-2 in that was not in the rank. As much as i like her. She is a bit more mature so not only because of bribery. They would remove her either way cause she looks a bit older than all the other members. The vibe is so much different so im pretty sure even if she would rank 1 they will find out a way to manipulate and remove her.

With regards to IZ One - Vampire: The costumes are incredible, the castle interior is incredible. The sound quality and musicianship are absolutely top-notch. The accuracy on everything is perfect. The camera work is incredible. The girls are very beautiful. I've played it over 20 times on my keyboard. I think that video is a masterpiece.

I legit didn’t watch the recent season of Produce 101 when it came out cuz I was still heart broken over Wanna One and didn’t want to like a group just for them to disband so soon. Once I found out X1 had a 5 year contract I thought I was safe to stan cuz I wouldn’t get my heart broken so quickly...guess I could be wrong lol

101 talented boys and girls, I had my own picks during the show and I know how hard it is to witness their dreams getting shattered when they have been putting their everything in it. Some of my favorite trainees didn't make it but I'm satisfied with the current line up. We must not blame the kids, mnet is the one at fault.
One its and Wiz*one let us all do our best and give these groups the love they deserve.
And that's the reason why I never watch the survival show. I'm way too much of a softie for these. I just sit it out and decide to love the group or not. Funny, Wanna one wasn't my thing but X1 seemed more balanced, although Yohan was the first they didn't put him in the center all the time and I liked it like this. I feel bad for them...

Let's all be aware of this fact, as much as I have been a fan of izone siince I saw Chaeyeon dancing too 'shower' in produce, I think they will disband. I hope they don't and I dont want to be a pessimistic person but Korea is a country that cares a lot about status, reputation and what others think. for the person who don't know its aalleeged the final 12 were:
1. Sakuraa(so she was robbed of 1st place)
2. Lee Chaeyeon( she went to 12th really disgusting) if only she knew how high she ranked she would have had more confidence
3.Lee Ga eun(was robbed of her place and I think she was replaced with Yuri)

5. Wang Yiren( I feel bad for her but she is doing well know in Everglow
6. Yabuki Nako
7. Kwon Eunbi
8. Choi Yena
9. Yang Wonyoung
10. Takeuchi Miyu(I knew she was robbed because come onn her voice is a god sent)btw(she was the girl hat sung with 3 other girls, they sang a japenese song wich later 3 other trainees sang the funny korean version of it.
11. Honda hitomi
12. Jang gYu Ri (she hac already debuted with another group at the time I think FROMIS so She would have been switched with nr 13 I think
13.Huh Yun Jin( She had a beautifull angellic voice and did a duet with Ga eun during the 1st evaluation)
14 Yamada Noe(she was the optimiistic cutie in produce the " Jooe" of produce)
So in conclusion( Hyewon, Minju, Chaewon and Yuri shouldn't have debuted, I think it's sad for the people that got robbed of their spot or individual ranking). I think that this will make many people stay angry because many people already had their suspisciion with Hyewon, Minju and Yuri. Personally Izone is Izone but to be honest we can't deny the fact that atleast 4 people got robbed of their spot and I feel bad for them cause especially for Ga eun she really felt like that was her only chance and the crazy thing is is that she got 3rd and Chaeyeon was 2nd. Everything is a mess but I think that even if they were to continue they will disband soon cuse apperently in Wanna one Samuel was in the fiinal apperently and also one of the members of Nu'est.
Well I don't know how true this is but Yamada Noe wouldn't have made it because she didn't make it pass the top 20 and her popularity dropped after - similar to Goto Moe. I'm most suspicious of Hyewon, Minju, Chaewon and Yuri because their ranks were the most shocking of all. Mnet did Miyu dirty but I'm glad she's in a better place right now. Juri also debuted in a permanent group as opposed to a temporary group. I feel bad for these girls facing all the backlash, but If any of them knew about the rigging, they should face the consequences.

Previous groups are meant to disband as they only have certain periods in their contract and those have ended. Luckily, IZ*ONE is still promoting despite the issue and they disbanded X1 even though their contract was meant for 5 years.

my favs got out one by one and i was upset about it but that was the point of the survival show. It is okay to be upset over your fav getting out and understable if u r a bit salty for some time but honestly they are just so immature. The final ep aired aaaaaaaages ago and they are still pressed, tf??? I got upset when chowon got 13th and barely missed and when Park Sion got out in the first round but I was never that salty. Peoplpe shoould just grow up and understand the odds of their favs of debuting are slim

My thoughts on the topic:
1) I don't get why everyone is so fricking shocked and why the news was treated as if it was something unusual. It's a reality show, of course it's rigged. It's not good but it's not something that will change quickly, either.
2) X1 and Izone will not come back stronger. I think X1 will lose a whole lot since their Korean fanbase is really the only stable fanbase keeping them alive. They will be weaker than usual. Izone will probably be the same amount of strength. They already made an impact on both I-fans and Knetz. I'm sure I-fans will protect them. Knetz, however, will not give the two groups mercy. They love them but we all know that they will forget their suffering and shit on them right away.
3) I don't think that they should disband, but I don't want them to come back right now. It's still not completely accepted by everyone right now, so I'm sure that being back will only make then less loved.
4) They won't disband. I'm not 100% confident in this thought, but I'm pretty sure they'll be back. I'm not set on X1 but Izone will stay. They invested too much time and money into it already.
