I'm not a fan of kpop music, but I started to listen to BTS because of the rap line... they are really amazing. Well, now I love all of bts' members, but the rap line was my crush at the beginning lol (sorry for my bad english)
RM wrote the most and produce second ...He is the president of BTS...Suga produce the most..and second to RM in writing....Jhope wrote most of his rap line and contribute the most on dance part. The rap line are inspire the other members...BigHit is good company to encourage the members.
RM is really a genius. Once on a Korean show the members were talking about their songs, all the members said that the part which RM wrote always got chosen the most. He is really underrated by most people. Many people don't like his look as much as other members, but when people know more about him, they'll see how talented and smart and caring he is. Definitely my bias.
That's what I really admire the most about BTS. They (especially the rap line) really instigated other idol groups in making their own music, rather than having it be too manufactured.
I love bts, but bigbang originally started the trend of idols producing their own music, before idols weren't really considered 'artists', but its really nice to hear the growth through their music esp. since they produce it/ are involved in the process

True 💯 In quarantine this year I’ve got to know BTS (and I don’t listen to any other K-Pop music) and their lyrics and deep meaning underlying got me curious about them. One can really feel it when the band feels the lyrics they’ve written themselves in comparison when it was written for them. Take Taylor Swift - she’s the example why she breaks records - all because of her own written lyrics. JK’s “Your Eyes Tell”, Suga’s “First Love”🔥, Suga’s “Tear”🔥, RM’s “4 o’clock”, V’s “Sweet Nights” - you feel their sincere emotions in their songs. 💜 IMHO: If you’re in this industry, there’s no point for you to be trying to live any mark if you’re not writing your own songs or music.
Actually they have a lot of songs for an artist it's also amazing that Bighit back them up all the way.I think that's why they are so successful bec. their management believes in them....

The producers who make the music sometimes do not get the recognition they deserve . Because they arent infront and get over shadowed by the artist . Its sad. But as a music lover i always look for who produced the song. That is why i have so much respect for the BTS. They are in a complete balance.They are so talented in production and writing the songs.💜💜 It hurts that people only look on superficial beauties but it doesnt matter.. With age comes exposure and with exposure comes maturity and with maturity your preferences changes . I know for sure rap line and now jungkook will be admired in the production area by professionals musicians💜💜... And i am happy because for them music was their main focus. hobi and jimin are getting appreciation for dancing and that is their main focus . Jin writes a lot too. I think he said in an interview he submitted Awake 3 times before they accepted it. He really worked hard on that song, and on other songs too. He's the one who wrote then end of Spring Day too.
If you search bts songs on Google, where we can see how many people participated for making every bts songs, and it's really appreciatetable that Hybe giving credits to composers of every bts song, that's why I have huge respect for Hybe and bts, they are also mentioning about others hard works too

For one ,I'm very surprised at RM! And his writing of some of their greatest songs ..I knew about Suga already and i know he produced most of their songs. Jhope is another talent ..he freaking has all the talent. You see the balance in the fact that for those that can't write or produce, they are the beautiful dancers and visuals of their videos or expecially they are the Vocalists. Its so divided and balanced that it seem like they planned it. For real now I know why there is a huge respect for namjoon among the boys. He's really awesome. I still remember in one interview v expressing his envy fir rapmon ability writing good lyric bcs previously his lyric which been accept but replace with rapmon one bcs his lyric fits the song better. Still they r making so much efforts in contributing good music pieces togather with professional touch at point. Grateful for those helping out n deliver good music production ☺👏👏
BTS is pure talent. Singing? We've got four vocal lines with different vocal colors that is distinctly unique but also goes well with each other. Rapping? We've got three talented rap line, also with distinct rapping style, as can be seen in their respective mixtapes. Dancing? We've got our dancing machine Hobi, but to be honest, no one in the group is bad at dancing, it's just that Jung Hoseok is too damn good. Producing and songwriting? Watch the video above and I don't think I need to explain. They wrote songs for other singers, too. Variety? Watch Bangtan Run and they will brighten your whole day. Seriously, what can't they do?! The fact that the members wrote most of their songs is also a really important thing for me at least, because every time I listen to their songs I feel like they're actually talking to me and not just singing whatever words someone else just ask them to sing. I'm not saying other groups that doesn't produce their own song is bad, but I personally really liked BTS because of the connection I felt with them through their music. Plus they're super adorkable, funny, and overall just had a really positive and likeable attitude. Also, they're squad goals. Each member had their own distinct characters but they support each other so well. They've been struggling together for a long time, and it just felt really good to see their strong bond and how they care for each other. Through their newest reality show, Burn The Stage, I feel an even stronger connection with them because now I've come to realize that despite being a world-class artist, they're still very relatable: they're just humans with flaws and fears and insecurity and regrets. And the most important thing is: they love and respect their fans so much! Started as a dancer and now, Choreographer, Rapper, Vocalist, Writer, Producer, and successfully released his own hixtape! The best dancer and the Flow god! Suga and RM guided and helped him a lot. It's not easy to rap and make songs but the rapline supported him to find his true potential.
I really think RM and Suga could be a killer producer combo >.< RM seems to be responsible for all the best toned down and pleasant melodies (also, really good at using repeating patterns). Suga is nearly the opposite, he shines on the intense music that's heavy on the feels (and he simply has the gift to know exactly where a little change in the background can shift the entire mood of the song). I hope one day they work together, on their own, to produce something ♥

Like J-Hope's 1VERSE, that sampled the beat of some Skrillex song but used original rap by Hoseok. Sorry for my english
Eli P. Yeah mixtape production isn't wholely credited to the rapper/artist since some beats and sounds are from already produced songs.. It's kinda like a mix of covers (where the lyrics and changed) and originals.. Like the Hamilton Mixtape produced by Lin Manuel Miranda, the original creator but some of the songs lyrics is different since the artists who participated in creating the mixtape altered the songs

Actually in bts every members contributed on writing lyrics but it was producer/composer that will decide which lyric they'll use in a song...
nothing personal .... I still remember in one interview v expressing his envy fir rapmon ability writing good lyric bcs previously his lyric which been accept but replace with rapmon one bcs his lyric fits the song better. Still they r making so much efforts in contributing good music pieces togather with professional touch at point. Grateful for those helping out n deliver good music production ☺👏👏

BTS is pure talent. Singing? We've got four vocal lines with different vocal colors that is distinctly unique but also goes well with each other. Rapping? We've got three talented rap line, also with distinct rapping style, as can be seen in their respective mixtapes. Dancing? We've got our dancing machine Hobi, but to be honest, no one in the group is bad at dancing, it's just that Jung Hoseok is too damn good. Producing and songwriting? Watch the video above and I don't think I need to explain. They wrote songs for other singers, too. Variety? Watch Bangtan Run and they will brighten your whole day. Seriously, what can't they do?!
The fact that the members wrote most of their songs is also a really important thing for me at least, because every time I listen to their songs I feel like they're actually talking to me and not just singing whatever words someone else just ask them to sing. I'm not saying other groups that doesn't produce their own song is bad, but I personally really liked BTS because of the connection I felt with them through their music.
Plus they're super adorkable, funny, and overall just had a really positive and likeable attitude. Also, they're squad goals. Each member had their own distinct characters but they support each other so well. They've been struggling together for a long time, and it just felt really good to see their strong bond and how they care for each other.
Through their newest reality show, Burn The Stage, I feel an even stronger connection with them because now I've come to realize that despite being a world-class artist, they're still very relatable: they're just humans with flaws and fears and insecurity and regrets. And the most important thing is: they love and respect their fans so much! They keep us updated about their activities in social media such as twitter and every time they win an award, you know what they'll say first: ARMY! ❤️

The wanting to be a rock I’m thinking was a remark he made when overtired & overworked. He’s doing what he loves, without bragging about his success.

*The rapline truly is the genius line* . And im so proud of J-hope, not just because he'smy bias but hey! Started as a dancer and now, Choreographer, Rapper, Vocalist, Writer, Producer, and successfully released his own hixtape! The best dancer and the Flow god! Suga and RM guided and helped him a lot. It's not easy to rap and make songs but the rapline supported him to find his true potential.

RM seems to be responsible for all the best toned down and pleasant melodies (also, really good at using repeating patterns).
Suga is nearly the opposite, he shines on the intense music that's heavy on the feels (and he simply has the gift to know exactly where a little change in the background can shift the entire mood of the song).
I hope one day they work together, on their own, to produce something ♥

Eli P. Yeah mixtape production isn't wholely credited to the rapper/artist since some beats and sounds are from already produced songs.. It's kinda like a mix of covers (where the lyrics and changed) and originals..
