That looks sick man. How is Dublin for mountain biking in general? I might be moving there for a year ish.
The good spots that are close are Ticknock, the Gap and Ballyhoura and they are great. There are other good spots within an hours drive like Kinety.
@@daireoregan9831 Haha thanks for the reply!! I just got here few weeks ago and plan to go for my first ride this weekend. 🤘🤘🤘
Nice! Hope you enjoy your ride this weekend. Where are you going to?
@@daireoregan9831 Plan to go to the GAP. I just got my bike 2 days ago. don't plan to go too hard either... Haven't been riding for almost 2 months 😂my lung is gonna hate me I'm sure
@@brucehu3454 What sort of bike did you get?
Did you miss the final descent?
Going to visit at the beginning of next year hopefully... Weird question, but any bikes I rent in the area: will the front brakes be actuated by the left or right lever?? I've heard America is weird in that we use right/rear front/left on bicycles
In Ireland the brakes are opposite to America. The front brake is on the right...back brake left!! I myself do it like urself on my own bike though!!
@@TheDiablosix6six that would take some greeting used to... Maybe the shop will be cool if I swap sides while I have it😂😂 thanks for the reply!
@@bryandewby if they're sram they can be just swapped around and I'm sure the shop would be fine but if shimano the cables have to be removed and bleed so go for sram if u can!!
@@TheDiablosix6six oh shit, didn't realize that! Thanks dude
i am a kid i am getting a new bike tomorrow do you advise this trail
Take it slow, don't get in anyone's way. If someone is coming behind you faster than you, pull off to the side and let them pass. Make sure to enjoy it too.
thanks
@@friendlyneighbourhoodidiot7970 just walk any features or trails u can't ride it'll get easier as u go on trust me!
