This is what makes iOS slightly superior. The moment you install the app and enable notifications there is nothing to worry about. I have tried on my Android devices literally EVERYTHING, but there is one app that won't push notifications no matter what - Facebook. I have tried on Pixel 5, OnePlus 8 Pro, S20, S21 Ultra, Note20 Ultra and it did not work. I know they are allowed on Facebook itself because I am getting them immediately on my iPhone. I don't know what is causing Android to struggle with it, but this and few other bits are the reason why I am still sticking with iOS. But God knows I wanna switch to Pixel 6 Pro badly.
Ouf, this is an old, old "fix" that doesn't do a shit lol....sorry but the only, and by that I mean ONLY thing to do is to disable doze completely or go with an iPhone if you want instant notifications.
funny i was scrolling thru comments after my reply of only shelling into the phone and disabling dose will work, and saw this comment. new A52 5G here and i'm missing notifications left and right, this is my last android. imagine if you were getting delayed text messages or your phone just didn't ring because samsung or android thought it was a good idea to make your phone sleep so it could conserve battery ? screw that, its my phone and if they are going to lie to you in the menu and still power save even after you toggle it off then i'll buy an iphone, plain and simple. of course by time samsung or android programmers read this a-lot of us will have switched already, that is, if they even read this or give a rats arse.
I have the problem in notification with samsung A52s. When my phone was connected with wifi and then the phone in idle condition the notification delayed. When i turn on the screen, all notification will appear. I am very confuse with this problem cause i already bought this phone 2 times but the problem was same and no solution. Do you have idea with this problem?

Doesn't work. Gmail, eBay, PayPal ETC still does not give me notifications until I unlock the phone and turn on the screen. :(
