Peter was so useless in Civil War... didn't even speak to Miles after everyone found out that he might kill Captain America

Mago Man Miles is a really good character though. People hate him because he "replaced" Peter but he has made his own title for himself... Not to mention people would be even more pissed if Peter was rebooted as a black person
Fredo In The Cut Yeah I'm surprised that didn't happen. You'd think Peter would be the first one to swing in and see if Miles was OK. Maybe go with him to Washington.

Yea I was pissed that Peter never even talked to Miles at all after the vision. Hell, Peter hasn't even really been involved with Miles' life whatsoever since like, the beginning of ANAD. I get that Miles is his own character but, c'mon, at least find a spot for him in Dead No More.
Peter is clearly smarter than both Tony and Carol because he is cautious in listening to Ulysses rather than just ignoring him outright or taking his word as law. Sure that caution caused issue's still but even so, it's much better handled than either Carol or Tony.
I wish Peter had had gone to Miles as everything was starting and told him
"Yo. Heroes taking sides? You have a girlfriend or something? Grab her and gtfo!!!"

So... Did Peter have anything to say about Carol arresting innocent people, almost arresting Miles, or putting Tony into a coma?
My headcannon is that the Clone Conspiracy was happening at the same time, so he couldn't get involved in the war.
Seriously, though, Spider-Man being on Carol's side yt trying to get her to be more reasonable may have saved this trainwreck, IMO
No he was probably busy with parker.industrys plus if Carol tryed to arrest miles and Peter was there he would be ticked off and switch sides

Also, it seemed like this story would make more sense if it lead to Peter being against relying on the future seeing powers. I mean think about it, Ulysses basically caused all of the problems since Clash was only reacting to the news of the future. If there was no prediction, no problems.
well its a case by case basis. Ulysses was totally on the money about that couple that was going to murdered by the woman's ex. Its a great story about how is powers can be accurate and inaccurate and can be highly circumstancial. Really plays into the whole moral ambiguity and how there is no clear answer
I know it's a case by case basis but the premise of this story is why Spider-man joined the side he joined. From that perspective it makes no sense since it seems to be built more how unreliable the predictions can be and just the problems that come from it. It was just poorly thought out. At least give Spidey a moment of pause to weigh his options.
OK, Spidey was a dick to Clayton and could prevent the fight. He should have been given a second chance for doing a good job

ddarkman1festt I'd rather have Peter see some success in life for once since instead of just being life'a punching bag all the time. He can still have problems and setbacks but if he never sees success in his efforts he's just a miserable loser. if they had to take away any and all chance of happiness in love, at least give him some success in business. he needed to learn a thing or two from Superior Spider-man who actually used his intellect and inventiveness to his advantage, to help himself and improve his life instead of always doing things the hard way when it's entirely unnecessary like Peter had always done up to this point. Peter has problems balancing his personal life, professional life and superhero life? Yeah that's difficult but with his skill set, he has almost always been capable of being better at literally everything he does if he only lived up to his potential. He just always made life harder for himself than it needed to be. it was fine when he was younger but when he's an independent man out of college presumably for a few years now and has been around the block of experience as much as he has at his relatively young age, he doesn't have much of an excuse beyond wanting himself to suffer.

Ugh... this just makes the entire premise of Civil War 2 even dumber. This story is _literally_ about how actually listening to Ulysess *causes* the events he sees to happen.... and what do they do? *still listen to his visions!*

Every Super Hero Civil War is terrible. It's like, "Hey, we're all good guys, but slightly different good guys. Let's fight to con dumb kids out of their allowance when they buy this crappy comic."
The only good one was Injustice, but that was Hero vs. Hero Turned Villain, not hero vs. hero with slightly different ideas.
Not familiar with DC, can you explain the premise of Injustice so that I might jump in?
The Joker drugs Superman and tricks him into killing his pregnant wife, causing Superman to snap and kill the Joker out of grief. But he doesn't stop there. He leads the Justice League (except for Batman and a few others) on a campaign to end all crime and war on Earth through force, killing criminals instead of locking them up, taking out anyone who stands in his way and becomes the dictator of Earth. And from the shadows, Batman leads a war against Superman and the Justice League - while still maintaining his "No Killing" rule.
And yeah, a lot of heroes die, Alfred beats the shit out of Clark, and Superman and Wonder Woman are huge assholes.

It's funny how uninvolved Spider-man(Peter Parker) was in the event they say he be the jimmy cricket for her. annoying her when she is about to do something wrong and remind her of what is morally right, too bad we didn't get that in this series I mean come on, it would have been so cool and probably reason was they didn't want the fans shipping the two more than usual (which for me it be really interesting and cool to see Peter with carol and would have a lot of interesting stories as those two as couple.) also they had rush the series as fast possible while being lazy no matter how bad effect the characters and the narrative.

Honestly they should have had Peter be the middle ground between Carol and Tony. On the one hand Peter would probably want to use the power to see the future to prevent bad things from happening. On the other hand locking people up with no evidence of their crimes would definitely keep him from joining Carol's side. Also why didn't he ever talk to Miles when all the heroes thought Miles would kill Cap.

And that people is why Civil War 2 happened. Cause Carol/Captain Marvel keeps relying on the visions but acts recklessly on them, and Tony wanted to stop her playing GOD as he says when Carol was responsible for She Hulk, Rhodey(War Machine), and Bruce/Hulk deaths. ALSO SHE INJURED TONY SO BADLY IN THE END HE GOT REPLACED BY RIRI, NOW THAT’S STUPID!

This story is so sad. Here I was expecting Clash to turn out good in the end, but he betrayed Spider-Man for real. I'm pretty mad Spidey wasn't nicer to him. He could have said "well, yeah, you can work on the sonics, just be careful man" and then later gotten more serious and restricted him making the sonics when things were less dire, but no, he just went in there being on the offensive and telling the guy not to do what he loved.
CraftyKittyGaming Clayton is pretty messed up, his hero put him in juvie when he was a teen, he now works with him, and he gets told he's not allowed to do his work on sound tech by the person who drove him to make the stuff in the first place.
Spidey is too short sighted here.
Clayton is on Parole for his crimes and just used the Clash tech he was supposed to never touch again. He wasnt unreasonable at all. He even said he could keep working on it, but hand it to the R&D team. Clayton is completely unreasonable here, so its obvious he is a danger.
How different was Spidey here to how Iron Man was with him in the MCU?
