Such a better way to think about ourselves and our children - authentic, happy or not.
That hit me, me with 2 teens and a young adult at home and ofc myself as child of my parents. This makes me think back to all the times my mum said "we go on holiday to where the kids are happy, if they're happy, I'm happy". Gosh, what a pressure when I now think abt it. And what do I hope for my children, "to be happy", Im thinking it too, damn........ I'm gonna rethink abt this big time. THANK YOU!
It's a part of life. There is ups and downs and we should accept the life as it is. It's always our choice to choose. We should all be able to deal with all sorts of difficulties life throw at us.
