I think you are supposed to make a single cut around the bottle, not keep turning it more than once. When you pour the hot and cold water over it, do it repeatedly until the bottle falls apart on its own, rather than pulling it apart. This way you should get a clean cut.
@@AliWall You're welcome. I haven't actually tried this yet - I've got a bottle cutter on order - but this is what I've seen other people doing on their videos. We'll both have to see if it works as well for us!!
Thanks for showing this cutter...I ordered the same one and wasn't quite sure how to assemble it properly. Although, some verbal or written instructions as you went through the steps would have made it an even better vid. Thanks for posting!
I was having more success tiring a strong around a bottle and putting lighter fluid on the string. Light it. Burn for one minute then place in ice bath. Pop! Sometimes it didn't work. But mostly.
I just started this hobby dude watch some videos before trying, it would have worked if you did a single cut, poor the water equally and only on the cut, elastics around the cut helps as well... Good try though thanks for your video and time we still learn a lot and see how the cutting base works 👍
Thanks for the tips. These were the first attempts, so nothing came of it. But I wanted to show that it is not as simple as everyone shows. Looking at other videos, it seems that everything is simple, but in reality nothing is so simple and easy.
I just saw on another video someone used what looked like thick, rubber O-rings...how does the rubber elastic help? It was the first time I had ever seen them used and now you mention them too so I'm curious...I'll try anything if it help me get better cuts. TIA!
I could film one perfect cut but I wanted to show how it is in reality. You need to practice till you can get perfect cut. But if you can get perfect cut at your first try then you are born master.
Actually this cutter worked perfect for me. I've been using it for a while now. You only need to make a single scratch from end to end. Use a candle to put the schatch line on fire only to focus on the very scratch line. You will hear a slight breaking sound then you may run over the scratch line onder a running water if possible making a way to just let the water focus on the scratch line if it will still not fall then get it back to the candle flame and repeat until it will fall by itself without you putting pressure or anything on the bottle. You will get a perfect cut through it.

Thanks for the suggestion. 👍

Well at least thank you for showing me how to put the thing together.
i like how this was a video experimenting with the different ways of doing it
Thanks!
pouring water unequally around peripheral mean unequal cut.
Upper and lower parts need a different temperature at a time.
this device is actually work , you need only a single cut around the bottle, not keep spinning the bottle on the cutter
Thanks for the advice!
Mine works perfectly every time. Pro Tip- Read instructions.
Yes, it is necessary to practice and find the right way for each glass.
I can't even get my bottle to break 😂
U did what I do 😂

Den där apparaten verkar sladdrig Jag byggde en egen stadig glasskärare av trä och gummihjul, låt glasskärare gå ett varv inte mer
Omg maybe you should’ve watched a few vids on how to seperate the glass first

its all about the way you cut it.. 😂😂😂 the thing is you dont know the method.. hahaha
I know, these were my first attempts at bottle cutting. 😇
U need 2 rubber band that line place between them and pour hot water after cold water.
Thanks for the suggestion. 👍
Doesn't work. I just tried.
lesson 1.....read instructions
Yes, but more important is to practice, these were my first attempts.
You are now working, man
Can you trade pokemon gx cards in India🇮🇳?? I need it
I'm from Latvia (Europe). Shipping fee would be more than cards value.
@@AliWall 🙄🥲
Not great demo. Only one method worked. Not sure what he did right or wrong here!
" I failed, but I know it can be done." All you need is faith, my son.
Thanks! 😇
Money waste 😱
Man, you have no clue and no kills!
Yes ma'am 😄

We don't need to see every tiny little detail
Terrible cutter
Sorry, I know. 😅
