Sadly, in time something fatal will probably happen to them in this limited and fragile habitat, by climate or by criminal. Could more extensive natural habits be found where they can be adapted to give them new prospects for long-term survival?

Yes! All attempts have failed. Tbh, the pupfish struggle to survive in their own habitat.
Yes, since 2015 but successful breeding has been limited.
