Dont mind all these kids commenting ASMR bs. It's a console from before they were even alive and an appropriate projector. Its a match made man. Nice footage.
Huh? "match made"? Feel free to call me anal for my opinion if it makes you feel better, but an appropriate projector would be a CRT one like a refurbished VPH-D50 from '97, not an HD LED projector like the VPL-EX7 in the video: which, for reference, is three years younger than the PS3 -- not exactly "old school" unless you're in your twenties.
I m not a fan of Asmr videos. But this look so retro as hell. I rember when i was a kid, my Bro played GT2, Alien Resurrection, MGS and Silent Hill on PS1. That was the best time ever
incredible video, i dont get why people complain about the imagw quality ngl do they not remember that this was how everyone played on their consoles back in the day? composite is also better at masking dithering, i truly believe that crappier resolution are the best option for old games
Good point! The game looks exactly as it should, I love my upscalers, RGB cables and component cables but composite on a analog screen hits different because it brings me right back to my childhood!
47 yr old here. I remember our Atari 2600, I remeber going to friends who has Vic 20 computer. I Also remember our old tandy 1000sl2 computer which only had 640kb memory, 720 kb disk drive (3.5 inch) and no hard drive. It did have TGA (Tandy 16 colours graphics) and the built in tandy sound, which was way better then built in pc sound. The Tandy pc ran on intel 8088/86 cpu 8 mhz?, and desktop was called Deskmate. Tandy had built in Rom that had very basic option to load up Deskmate. But it was crap compared to windows 3.1 that later came out. I Remember going high school and they have Mac classic with 1.44 mb floppies and they had HDD drives. Wanted HDD for our Tandy so much. But at the time a 20 MB HDD was like $1000 or more. It was ridiculous, Tandy later launched 286/386 PCs. Wanted one so badly but couldn’t afford it. Kinda sad Tandy pc died. They were really good pc for its time. one time we had Mattel Intellivision INTV System III Console.Hate that thing so much compared to snes or ps1/ps2 haha.

@@allgenerationsgamer Yeah, maybe. But at the other hand I am 39 years old now so I was 24 years old 2009, so for me it was not so long ago. But if we pretend I was born sometime after year 2000 it maybe should feel more old school with a projector from 2009.
Dude I normally use a RGB scart cable but there is no scart connection on this projector, I don't have a S-Video cable for PS1. But it looks even good with composite!
@@allgenerationsgamer and what is the issue to create one?! You get RGB output from PS1 connector and add the sync from Composite output and… voila - you have an PS1 to RGBS signal cable. Hard for me to find any value in the video apart from the fact that you have to show of and brag of „the cool setup you have”. Sorry but you don’t 😬
@@TheDrunkenPL I' dont get the point using any better output when the resolution is low. RGB intended for attachable LCD display to the back. SVHS just seperate the luminance and chrominance.
This video is ASMR-ish. What I mean by that is most ASMR videos are more gentle with the sounds. They aren't slamming anything or letting items drop. Plus some sounds here are simply way too loud. I get what you're going for, but by staying in the middle of the road, you're not going to get many views. Just my two cents. Best of luck.

That's so cool! Love how your setup's got nothing but Sony stuff! Even the speaker system is a Sony.
Yes Sony was king of the 90s!🔥🔥
to be honest ps1 and ps2 console design is so beautiful and legendary🤩🤩🤩🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

"THIS" is the definitive way to play! 😎 I have all my consoles hooked up through a projector, so I can relate! 😁

Anyone else feel the light breeze on their face from the gentle fanning of the game manual? Only a minute and a half in but already satisfied :) 👾

There is a game option that reduces the input latency but in some games I unfortunately did notice some low input latency
