Someone mentioned the sound is off, but I actually love the echo, this concert sounds more 'live' than most of his official live albums lol, because of the poor mixing on most of them.
Hey man, I see you on all these videos. lol I feel like we would get along. Been loving James since i was a teen. born in 82, so not like most people my age. These is something about the way "get up offa that thing" sounds during this time period that sounds so different than the way it was done later. I hear it in this video from 1978 also. I think it might be the bass or horns sound different. I like it so much more. ua-cam.com/video/EZVG9WQ3Z-k/v-deo.html
Jon B Well the way he performed it live from 1976 till the early 1980s is basically the way it was recorded, he normally played it at a faster tempo but it was similar to the original recording. The way he started performing it later on was different than the original recording and I didn’t like the new arrangement that much.
I just wish he had named "Kiss In '77" (or rather Sweet Charles, because he wrote it) something else because it was obsolete almost immediately because of the '77 in the title. Maybe if it was called "Kiss In Heaven" or something without a year in it it would have been a bigger hit and/or held up better in concert.
Tive o privilégio de vê lo no Palmeiras esse mesmo ano show de bola em 78
Concert footage from JB's commercially slower period is so hard to find. I love this era.
I think JB's best dance phase was the late 70's...I just can't stop watching the '77 Midnight Special performance. AWESOME!
James Edwards-Marche right on 2 the bizz more bone!
By 1979 he wasn't dancing as much
@@javonteburris3954 Watch JB perform "Eyesight" in Monterey, California 1979. He was movin' like a mutha'!
Eu e Miguel Salomão, e nossa turma tivemos o privilégio de ouvi-loe vê-lo ao vivo, inesquecível!
Damn still giving it to the drummer on 6.46-unbelievable combo when the bass kicks in. Truly the funkiest man ever
Teve até um especial James Brown,na saudosa REDE TUPI DE TELEVISÃO,em 1978.
Thank you so much for uploading this wonderful Performance by the Legendary Godfather of Soul Mr. James Brown!!!💓💓💓🎼🎼🎼🎶🎶🎶
I saw a live Bodyheat in Greenwich Village w JB and Anne Weston , as the only singers !An awesome tune and arrangement . Great impact here!

He should had named it New Kiss.
It should have been called "NEW KISS" leave the year out. or call it kiss in 2099 :) just kidding.
That fake james brown channel is taking all the videos and locking them away
Is there anyway you could try and remaster this footage and re post it?
were both channels summed to the right channel ?

If you compare the other concerts with this one. Rome concert was better
I enjoy this era of JB. Many fans would say this was his down period, buy artistically 76-79 were good years for Brown
