Followed the same course today on microsoft learn about deployment scripts. This helps so much to see you do templates with deployment scripts and with better examples.

    Excellent, thank you!
Timely as I was l learning Bicep today, and this was the missing piece in terms of practical application.

I owe you a debt of gratitude! Your videos helped me land a job at a huge corporation. 5,000 server environment with a heavy initiative to move to Azure. I have rock star sys engineer skills and background and entry level Azure skills. Now I am in a position where I will be doing migrations, new builds, and more. Thank you brother, for the great videos.

Followed your course on pluralinsight for the az-304 exam, which was very good (you lost me on data integration and i really have to catch up on that area) but what you post here, and especially the deep dives, are far more interesting! Love your videos! Can you tell us more about data integration (;-)) and your ironman experience.

Good Video, as always. Can you do a video on Webhooks, Playbooks, Runbooks, Workbooks and demystify the use cases for each of these Books :-)

    Hey John,
How does this feature compare in your opinion to doing more or less the same using a build agent in ADO? As of now I see this feature to be useful only if one would like to omit use of ADO.

As I said at the start of the video if I'm using a pipeline I would do it there most likely unless it was some process very integral to certain resource provisioning that made it easier to be in the template.

Hi Jonn, as always great content. Thank you.
I guess we can have similar output while using custom script extension with ARM (not sure with Bicep). Then what are the advantages using development scripts over custom script extension.
    Thank you again :) :)

I talked about cse and how they only are usable with a vm and typically aimed at things within the vm. There are many times you won’t have a vm or don’t want to wait for vm to provision before executing. Deployment scripts also better integrates with rest of template as I showed

    Hi John
Thank you for the great learning content as always.
Could you please guide me on how to secure cloud job as a fresher in cloud domain. I have completed az900,104,500 certifications but not getting any cloud position due to lack of experience in real-time production environment. Almost every company is looking for devops specialist or expert architect level person.
I have 6 years of experience in windows servers, vmware vsphere, sccm administration. I dont have any development background or knowledge.
What can I do to get into azure cloud administrator position? I keep practicing on azure portal everyday but not finding it sufficient to get a job.

Try posting something to reddit for guidance for something like that to get a good range of opinions.
