I went there once but never went back lol the sandy ruts and loose sugar sand felt dangerous and was throwing me all over the place. Now I get it the best riders grow up racing in sand to be the best but I basically moved to Alabama now for the clay dirt. I used to crash so much in sand. At least it was wet when you were there that helps.
I've seen the stats and some pre-production reviews of it but haven't seen one in person yet. It'll be packing a punch for the price. The 20kw motor and 98v battery are definitely catching some attention. The weight may be too much for the typical Surron buyers but for someone looking to ride on tracks like a dirt bike it may be a good option.
@ I pre ordered one, it is estimated to come in another month or two. I heard they are around 210 lbs and not the 185lbs they are advertising. I am looking to get into motocross with it, I was just wondering if you thought the suspension will hold up for Mx? Also chargedcycleworks has the only review on the production Altis Sigma. I would recommend checking that out if you’re interested.
@@aydentaub3544 I've seen their video and like a lot of the things they cover. I try my best not to pass any judgement on bikes until I can put my hands on it personally. At 210 pounds I wonder if it can actually compare to an MX bike. I saw rated horsepower of around 27 which puts it around the same power output as a crf150 but a little under the weight of a 250f. Where did you get the 210 number from? I see anywhere from 175-185 posted online.
@ John hicks weighed the pre production bike to be 204 pounds and with the production one they added a bigger fork spring, raised handle bars, etc. so I’m estimating 6 more lbs

Sand will absolutely make you a better rider, add in the heat of FL summers, and your endurance is exponentially better than a northern rider.
@ i think the jump they added the shells on is the one that I crashed on while there lol
Have you heard of the Altis sigma? It’s a new startup electric bike that’s smaller like a surron but has plenty of power.
