When the babies' spirits are broken it's time to throw them into the world of tourism. Before you go anywhere that uses animals, please do some research. There are a lot of elephant parks in Thailand that will use the word 'Sanctuary' when they in fact are not. Sanctuaries forbid riding, bathing, or doing tricks. These elephants are the result of abused animals like these and let them just be elephants, and live like nature has intended for them. They get to be social and bond with other elephants and have babies if they choose to do so . They create new families and are loving freedom. I know it sounds boring to not have elephants in circuses. riding doing all sorts of tricks, but we must respect them and let them be happy for the first time of their lives. Yes. I am a volunteer at the Zoo. Now there is no more show. It is a presentation. And it has become a non-contact one so there's the barrier between humans and elephants. No more mahouts. It is much better and safer for both elephants and us.
