Porcupine tree CC = PT Christmas Carol collection Arctic voyage 34 Radioactive toy Santasmovedon Last chance to open presents before they are recycled It will snow for a million years This long silence (joy to the world remix)
Sick bass jam; sounds a lot like Beggsy. Will miss Colin but this sounds promising...we shall see what 01 November brings forth...hoping that Wes comes along if they decide to tour (Lots of BIG ifs!).
I'm so excited, even more so now that I realize it's Nov. the 1st, NOT Jan. the 11th. Why can't us Americans get on board with everyone else? Don't worry I know why, I'm knee deep in this being American. lol
I don't claim to know what's on the horizon for PT but CC sounds to me like "complete collection" and I think there is more of a chance of some giant box set with remasters and maybe a new song or two. I wouldn't put it past Wilson to write a more metal sounding song with Beggs and slap the name Porcupine Tree on it because as Steven Wilson has already said in interviews that he doesn't want to keep playing with the same people AND in response to people who continue to ask about him playing PT songs on solo tours and the possibility of a PT reunion. "Porcupine Tree music is Steven Wilson music".
@Twilight Coda they registered a business under the name porcupine 3 but Colin is not listed as one of the involved parties. Although that doesn't mean he's not in the band, I guess.
OHHHHHH me too!!!!!! WOW! sorry, I was just really believing we had to wait until January the 11th, and my dumb butt wasn't even seeing the 21 I guess! The years are just blending together at this point I guess.
@@mukmewx last year Steven, Richard and Gavin registered a company called Porcupine 3 so that’s why I said it’s Not the Tree without their Anchor Colin. 😋
@@sazalamel4749 Good point, this does sound like it's being played with a pick, and Steven plays the bass using a pick. But this sounds like virtuoso playing, and I don't know if Steve has these kinds of bass chops...?
@@Miltonbanana2112 Didn't he play bass on the track Home Invasion on his Hand.Cannot.Erase album? Sounds like he would be able to pull something like this off. And as a bass player myself I can assure you that this here isn't as hard to play as it sounds. There are a lot of dead notes in this riff so you need more right hand control and rhythm skills.
@@legojedi3217 Wouldn't be the same, I'm a huge fan of King Crimson and some of the Tension Liquid and Experiment, but Porcupine Tree without Colin Edwin wouldn't be worth it in my opinion...
Sounds like the bass track of the middle of Bonnie the Cat to be honest.
Sounds like NB. Luminol vibes.

Gran trabajo Adam!
I pray to Christ this is a Porcupine Tree snippet.

Esto va a ser la bomba
So gooood
Recall that Steven, Richard, and Gavin registered Porcupine 3 recently. Makes sense that this would be someone other than Colin.

@@alajononon What looks like a new photo has been posted on a German booking website, Colin is the only member of the band not in the photo.
that’s sad to hear :(
can you please link info for all this stuff?
Damn you date formatting! Lmao, I was confused for a few seconds due to the inferior mm/dd/yyyy format we use in the states.

Remember Porcupine Tree was an English band and this isn’t them I think as it seems Colin isn’t involved so it’s Porcupine 3

That sounds alot like Nick Beggs.
True. Even the earlier clips, I felt it wasn’t Colin
Agreed, this does not sound like Colin. That worries me :/
Steven tends to play stuff like this whenever he picks up the bass. I mean he has said that guitar doesn't inspire him that much anymore.

Colin Edwin ?? (Not sure at all...). Nick Beggs ?! Tony Levin ?!?
It's probably Nick. Imagine PT with Tony Levin tho

That sounds much worse than the original film. It suggested something weird and experimental. This is just a flashy bass riff.
