  • Winter is giving it to us here in central Minnesota. It's been one wild year for snow removal. After plowing 4 days last week we get 5.5 inches of fresh snow. It came really early Wednesday March 1st. The family and I head out in the morning to clean up the sidewalks at our local shopping mall. Then we head home for a few hours and head back out for an afternoon - night plow.
In this video you will see some fresh footage from some different accounts, some snowblowing, and more... Of course the most entertaining parts are getting our ram 2500 regular cab stuck with the hiniker 8.5 ft v plow on the front. We slid down into a snow bank on glare ice and got stuck in a snow pile #plowtruck #stuck In the morning I get grief from some tattoo artist about blowing snow in his parking space. Which is a city parking lot.. The exact place I'm supposed to put the snow. See if that got me worked up?
Anyways, Thanks for reading and enjoy the video. Don't forget to like and comment. R.I.P. Give her the Beans!

the overnight hours is my favorite time to plow between 12am and 6am Tip: if you're on ice some times it works to bounce the plow a little don't let your plw all the way to the ground but make sure its up all the way then jerk it down a little and back up then repeat te process worked for me a few times

That's a great tip. I should have shoveled out better under the plow before I started trying to move it up and down. I didn't have much room for up and down motion.

Use the plow at an angle to help.push urself out the snow bank. Works for me when it happens

Idk how long you have been plowing and I don't mean this as a shot but, your riding into the piles with the blade all the way down and waiting until your stopped to try and push it up...if you start raising the plow while your still a little out of the pile it pushes it up a lot easier, your beating the hell out of the hydraulics plowing the way you do....but that's my 2 cents and 22 years of plowing...

Can't wait to see you slide down the hill. I have noticed that you don't have a 4×4 , I watch another one that have a 2×4 dodge truck with a big hemi and when he pushes snow you can hear it bug down. Think you, stay safe out there, you are in good hands 🙌 with God's angels 😇 😇, peace.

Yeah winters not that bad some complete whiteout conditions snow blown covererd roads lots being covered so quick as soon as you get done your right back at it on the same lot sounds like we are in the same general area of Minnesota where is your sand to throw under the tires one quick bite and usually I can get the truck to pop back out some times it takes a few attempts to get the sand under the tire enough but I'm by myself have your wife toss a few hand fulls under and then go to the other side do same while you carefully back the truck out maybe rock a little the sand builds up and give traction salt has worked for me but is harder to get to last found out back in 2019 when my transfer case went on my avalanche and had to finish the storm in 2 wheel drive got stuck a few times pushing snow that night
(I do hope this comment doesn't seem rude or like a jerk just saying hi to a semi local guy that I think makes great videos) hope all works great for you and your family keep up the grind

Yeah, man, no problem! I did have some tube sand in the back of my truck. I could have definitely gave that a shot. I should get a quick bite that's a great idea 💡 Thanks for the comment!

If I plow I never leave a problem with it, when you always keep IT back far away you never move it more times

I had tube sand in the bed of the truck. I spun up a bunch of sand because it was a gravel driveway. I promise that would not have fixed the situation in this case.

Snow is just not fun for me anymore. I retired...and got old. Its' just plain hard to do it myself anymore. So I now pay someone else to plow my driveway. I am in WI, and have not had it as bad as those of you in MN.

It's starting to become a bit monotonous over here. I believe its the 3rd or 4th most snow we have had in a season on record. Thanks for the comment 👍

Should have. I had both sand and salt. It was a gravel driveway. Once the tires broke through, i got some traction.

Or he’s being a great father and showing his kid how to have a great work ethic and running a low budget higher income business instead of paying someone who you don’t know to run your equipment and most likely damage it due to negligence because it’s not theirs to maintain or fix or care about. Keep your rude and unnecessary comments to yourself since you clearly have no understanding of what this families future and current plans are and why they are plus that kid is by no means a baby and looks like he/she is having a great time
