KD did do some bad things but only on the business side of things. I still believe he deserves some closure to his career instead of just rotting away on this dogshit team.
KD never had any shred of loyalty towards OKC and especially to the ownership group and Sam Presti. He's far more attached to Seattle - the place he made his NBA debut. If there's a place where KD would like to bookend his career - a reborn Seattle SuperSonics (if the NBA ever decides to right the wrong) in the next few years would be his dream choice. Even if that means he won't be in a contention for a championship, IMO he would have no problem sacrificing his last opportunity to finish his career where it started - wearing a green uniform with SONICS wordmark on it.
Would KD like to be a Thunder again? Maybe. Does anyone think Presti would give up much to get him? Nope. This fantasy makes for fun conversation but dude is too expensive for most teams to want any part of trading for him. These days 35 ain't too old to play high level NBA ball but KD is owed $55 million two years from now when he will be 37. OKC ain't trying to pay him all that

Ishbia was over eager to make a drastic move and was blinded by Ayton being a first overall pick. It was such a stupid decision to opt to keep him over the 2 clearly better wings. But it is what it is. I think KD gets moved this off season, the Suns land a bunch of picks to restore that issue and the players they bring on combined with Booker and Beal will be competitive enough to make the playoffs. If they make the playoffs, anything can happen. I just want competitive basketball.

OKC is so close to the team they need. If they get iHart or Claxton in free agency, maybe Drummond too as a backup big and vet, and then cash in some of these picks and young guys who aren’t impacting the team for an upgrade in Giddey’s spot. Whether that’s a consistent 3&D wing or a floor spacing scorer to be the second option. There’s so many options but the best are very clearly KD, PG, Lauri, or Mikal. OKC could use a great shooter, good passer, and good rebounder at the 4 who can get his own shot, and their biggest need is a strong 5 who can relieve Chet of banging with 250+ guys like AD, Jokic, Towns (if he stays), Kessler when Utah fixes their perimeter, etc., while having substantial impact offensively. Jaylin Williams won't cut it at this point in his career. OKC should get hold of that 5 by draft time including using that #12 pick, and then see what picks are on the table. They have a lot of 2nds in 2029. We know that Giddey is expendable and Wallace is more important than Dort moving forward. If Clingan is still there at #3 I could see Houston trading Sengun. OKC would love to do Giddey and picks for Sengun while the salary works. The most favorable 2025 1st, both 2029 1sts, and some 2029 2nds should be something Phoenix can accept for KD. Jeff Green, Tate, and Sengun for Dort, Giddey, the #12, and other picks could work for Houston if they get Clingan. KD expires in 2026 which will have been his 19th season so he can't demand much pay after that. SGA/Jalen/Durant/Chet/Sengun with bench Wallace, Tate, Kenrich, Jaylin is a very balanced team that should match up well with anyone, unlike the Thunder we just saw. And OKC would still have plenty of picks and when Jalen and Chet need to be paid in 2026 is perfect for Durant expiring in 2026. I can't see that squad not winning at least one of these next 2 seasons if healthy. They could literally sign only shooters to fill out the roster, that's how you make a dynasty.

Richardson holds program records in games played (155), wins (110), assists (626), steals (221), and three-point field goals made (268). He finished his collegiate career with 1,740 points, good for fifth-most in program history, and helped guide the Raiders to four NCAA tournament appearances.
05:59 "Devin Booker want's to be a neck" lol
It’s not going to happen,
1) no one in OKC would want him back
2) he would ruin what the OKC are trying to go for
3) if they were to get someone like him it would be Lauri, he cost less, puts up similar stats with less minutes, will have a longer career left, and is a better rebounder.
4) he would cost waaaay to much
5) if any thunderer were to come back it would be Russ, he’s cheaper and people would actually want to see him win a ring on the thunder
KD is not coming back, I do think his jersey will be retired in OKC tho
Sam presty is basically playing 2k myleague
Magic got some picks and players for Suns, it's hungry young squad and Franz and Paolo are on rookie contacts...... and they need shooting
Dummy - sarver isn’t the owner anymore. It would take Paolo, Dort and salary filler and 4 ones and 4 2s
Come back to the Bay Bay KD
I still wouldn’t give KD credit if he came back and won a championship in OKC. I mean hell why should he get the credit when that team is beyond stacked already
Cavs have two championship one in 1976 and 2016
I never disagreed with you before except for this one. His 3 point attempts haven’t dropped much over the years. He is just way more reliable in the mid range. Last time he relied on a 3 to win the game his foot was on the line 🤣
hope kd ends up back in okc before the end of the season
I think. OKC needs a veteran player with experience, I just want someone who can carry the load off SGA
I think Trade for KD to OKC for like four first round picks and Giddey and Also sign Russ in free agency
You're talking about a pre and post injured Durant.
Durant was the thunder
Durant to the clippers
I’d love to see kd go to okc
So OKC doesn't have to do anything to make salaries work. They just dump 2 guys who don't play like kwill and ous.
Watch a team like SAC or Orlando or even Indiana get KD😂
Make a tons of sense the only trade that make sense is 💯
Westbrook was more loyal to OKC than KD.
The team that has no choice but to retire the KD jersey is GSW. He’s the only 2 x FMVP🤷🏿♂️…
As an OKC fan we don't want him back
18:30 pascal siakem be like :o
This lineup would beat Boston next year
G Shia Gilgeous-Alexander
G Jalen Williams
F Luguenz Dort
F Kevin Durant Trade KD for 4 1st RD picks and Josh Giddey
C Chet Holmgren
bench
G Cason Wallace
G Isaiah Joe
F Aaron Wiggins
F Ousman Dieng
C Kyle Filipkowski 12th PIck 04
KD my fav player. He shoulda never left GS in my opinion. I rly dnt like him in PHX
Okc mind as well try to grab bol bol to, in their system I think he could be productive
Lets be real OKC & the warriors are retiring his jersey no question.. I 100 percent disagree .. and I'll say you are wrong no debate
It’s just basketball man …
Nobody in their right mind debates if Miami should retire his jersey.
Bro brooklyn was khyries fault not being able to play home games, and harden for being injured…KD carried that fucking team.
They need to kd back to golden state and draymond needs to suck it up
KD doesn’t deserve the hate he’s an insanely good player one of the greatest
please bro please replace that music the loop is torture
He did it to himself, he leaves on a bad note every single time 😭
This is why curry in my opinion sets the tone for nba players not leaving they team when shit gets bad the warriors that 2020 season won 13 games rough times those was😂😭 all these niggas be so fast to jump ship
Of course KD would go back there now that it’s built up again 😂
i'm sending this to okc until thy reply or announce they're getting kd
Come on home KD
jamal murray not an official all star but lets be real he’s an all star caliber player
When KD was on OKC, he knocked LeBron for going to Miami to create a super team. Then, he went and did the same thing a few years later. He's a clown.
