Without going into detail, unspoken goodbyes can leave some of the most gut wrenching feelings for both involved. So many unknows and just filled with, "I hope they're doing well." Songs like this are good for me because its reassurance that you can be given more than one angel. It's all about what you do with the angel you're given. Johnny's getting better and we can see it in the music.
I've been a fan for years and HS never ceases to surprise me, always keeps me on my toes, never know what to expect... and let me tell ya - not all songs in the past landed for me personally, but that's okay. It's great that HS evolves and they're still one of my fave bands of all time ❤

This song hits different for me my son was born on the 8th of October and I was in his life for 8 years then he was kept from me by his mother who had moved away after Hurricane Katrina when he was 4 and over the next 4 years she slowly took him away from me and now he is 23 and he doesn’t want to have anything to do with me I’ve tried and tried to reach out and even found him at his job a little more than a year ago but he doesn’t want to be in my life he says that hurts me more than anything I have been through some hard times and I always have hope that he will come around but I don’t want to make his life hard also maybe he is better off without me I feel like the world would also like the song plastic boxes he says I don’t want to die but have no reason to stay now this song is name the day he was born is speaking volumes to me
