Cor, I remember when the 600 series were new and looked state of the art, ultra modern. You can tell now they are typical of 1980's design.

I know what you mean. Mind you most things that looked ultra modern in the 80's now just look very typical of the 80's. Still great looking tractors though, makes me wonder what people will think of todays designs in 30 years.

i know when the landinis the 8550s and 10000s were built in the late 70s they were said to be the tractor of the future, and it was probly the same for these 690s aswell. if you look at another tractor from the same time these are higher, and longer with a super comfert cab they deffo was the tractor of the futurte

I just keep my MF 285, 1978 built hard to beat, more aftermarket parts available now cheaply, since the dealer shake DOWN, after agco buy out , the Conrad Black raid, most dealers went out, there were not many left in my area. Banner Lane is History!!!

Massey Ferguson had a much better cab then the rest. I have a 1990 MF 3070 it's cab is very quiet even more quiet then the cab on my 2004 John Deere 5320. The only thing missing is a cup holder in the cab of my MF 3070.
