Pause, breathe, and journal #43 // Eunice

Sometimes I write deep and private thoughts and other times they are random or mundane topics. Over the span of writing for so many years, the time spent putting thoughts to paper has been so healing for my journey in so many ways. It has allowed me to grow, explore, and see some of those transformations tangibly. Lately I have been practicing calligraphy again (one of my passions). I find that in the moments of focusing on writing out the letters so intentionally, it really helps to quiet my mind.

Hi Leila! Thank you! My automation of calligraphy definitely has Maybelle's modern calligraphy in it! She is my forever first teacher that I love. I am still using my A5 for journaling but am dabbling in my TN again lately! I love both!! :) - Eunice/Bk

Hi Kate!! Thank you so much for your kind message and for joining us! My first source of calligraphy learning was by taking a modern calligraphy class/workshop! I then started to delve into more traditional styles such as copperplate calligraphy with different books! Then you just keep practicing which I feel is a forever ongoing process even the master calligraphers practice regularly :) - Eunice/Bk

Hi Jenna! Thank you so much for joining us!! The pen I am using to write is a Lamy Safari. The brush pen is a simple Pentel sign brush pen which is very easy to find! I first learned modern calligraphy by taking a class/workshop, then studied different calligraphy styles mostly classic copperplate with books! - Eunice/Bk
