China has had too many internal wars throughout her long history.
Hence she could browse through and borrow from her thousands of years of experiences.
In China’s repeated history, if a power had lost in a war, continued fighting was downright foolish and surrender was d only option.
Now China has come out from abject poverty due to Westerners’ invasions and civil war but that was just hardly seventy+ years ago.
Now that she has recovered, unlike d Americans, she deeply knows war shall not be an effective tool in exchange for peace.
China knows economic productivity is d only key to prosperity and d only strength to withstand any bullies or foreign hostile incursions which are exactly what US is doing now.
US shall fail to contain or suppress China whose productivity is superior to that of US now, not to mention after newly sixty+ years of continued wasteful wars, US is now deep in debt.
But for US, ginormous national debt is not yet its biggest problem.
US’s political system with endless and continuous debates to nowhere and her arrogant but gullible politicians carrying tons of superiority complex over others keep thinking on making US Empire to last forever are.
America had never experienced a serious economic downfall. The only 2 crucial events in America's history is the civil war and the great depression. Civil war almost broke the country into two and the great depression was the most severe economic fallout America had experienced. But the great depression was short and Americans never really felt the pain as much as other countries suffering from poverty for a very long time.
Besides that, America had too much smooth sailing throughout her history and therefore not able to draw much experience from their history. America had the same 'island' mentality which was passed down to the Americans from the British. Britian & America had the same mentality that creating chaos outside their homeland is beneficial for them. America saw that after WW2. When the whole world was in rubbles after WW2, America is the only country whose production capacity is fully intact! This is how America becomes a superpower after WW2. With the fall of Soviet Union and America becoming the sole superpower, it enforced the 'Island' mentality further.
This is like a rich boy born with a silver spoon in his mouth! America had never truly suffered and therefore won't be able to understand the pain that is about to come and it will be very painful for them.
