Beautifully Done my friend. I have a collection of raiders awaiting a rebirth. Love the customizing you have done to her. I still wish i had my first Raider TT 34. back in the early 80's i dropped a 440 Intruder into her rear. Also changed final drive ratio's and mod'ed the tracks for the higher speeds. wish i would have kept it.

Also its great to come across those track marks once and a while on the trails, Makes me glad to know that their are still a few out there alive and playing amongst the new gen of sleds.
I'm definitely a die hard on vintage sleds. I've owned a few newer sleds, yeah they are smooth and easy to handle, but their is no special uniqueness to them as to what older sleds had. so many different breeds and designs in their hay day. sadly most died out in the crunch of the 70's leaving only the big 4.

Your Knight Raider is just too Cool! A very extreme quality rebuild. What ultra impresses me the most? Your not afraid to "Giv'r". I always say there is no glory for a vintage machine to be treated like it's made of egg shells. If a machine is so delicate that you don't dare demonstrate what the sales brochures boasted then it wasn't worthy of restoration. Great work all around, thank you for sharing.

yep. This is the coolest raider out there.... you still have it right??... I started building one many years ago, I was going to power it with a Tiernay tt10 gas turbine linked to a hydro static drive. was going with an aircraft theme with a yoke stick for steering and forward control. but the big "D" came along and put an end to that project.

Your redo is a great project, congrats. Great concept. There was a show on when I was a kid called "Here come the 70's" and this was what it was all about.way out concept projects..My daughter and I met up with a Raider out on the trail last year... and I just wanted to hear it run. Two questions. How fast did you get it up to? Did you have to beef up the electrical output to power all your extras?
