Thanks so much for your dedication man, I can tell you've put a lot of time and effort into building and supporting this community of ritual beast players... Just a big thanks from me and the other yugioh players around the world
This is the kind of content I am greatful for these platforms exists xd. Having this extensive guide on the deck is so useful, thank you very very much for being such a guide for me learning the deck on md and many others that will come, keep it up man
So glad this popped up in my recommended. I’m a complete RB newbie, and was looking at combos/guides the other day (I actually found the slides used here) but even after learning the standard combos, I still didn’t feel like I understood the reasons why you needed to search/summon a specific card at any given time. I’m going to make my way through the rest of this video over the next few days, but even just watching you explain the whole “make sure you have a way to summon, then a way to search” philosophy helped a lot - it seems obvious in hindsight, but I was too preoccupied with managing the different monster names/effects and wasn’t grasping the flow of the deck. Thanks again for posting, can’t wait to see more from you now I’m subbed :)
Thank you for this guide. Just starting playing YGO and chose Ritual Beast as my starter deck because Rampengu is adorable. Two quick questions, sorry if you covered in the video: What do you do if you have your one ofs (Apelio, Wen, Winda) in your hand stunting your combos? Also, if you don't draw a Rampengu/Cannahawk to start the game, are you just kinda screwed? Thanks again for your help.
Thanks for the comment! Suppose you have an extra Apelio or other RB monster in hand. In that case, you can often do a flex search by searching inheritance and then using inheritance to search what you want (this is especially useful on hands that start with SBT Lara). As for not drawing Rampengu or Cannahawk, many hands still combo as long as you have access to SBT Lara (this could be with E-Tele, drawing her, etc.). I currently maintain a spreadsheet with all the combos for the deck that also contains links to other resources for learning the deck (see the sheets titled "New Player..."): docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E-PW7li7T_dBUb_tPKznQ-Eldsm5il_L/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=117086575773850524972&rtpof=true&sd=true Hope this is helpful and thanks again for the comment! 👍
First of all, thank you for taking the time to make this awesome guide! I have a question, do you think the deck will be ''unplayable'' (paraphrasing what other content creators are saying) once Fuwalos comes to Master Duel? Seems like RB doesn't have a big representation in the OCG where there are already ''5 Maxx C's''. Im new to the game and I just want to hear an opinion from someone who really play the deck. Love your videos!
@@victormonteiro8816 thanks for all the kind words, Victor. I think the deck would still be playable. The deck would need to play counters to those cards or adapt a different play style (for example in the OCG, the deck never played the Nemeses cards, since the combo was too susceptible to Maxx "C"). The deck would become a specialist deck, similar to how plants work in Europe. The main issue is going to come once the cards from Crossover Breaker come out in Master Duel. Both Ryzeal and Malyss are bad match-ups for the deck, but the deck would still be good enough to top regional events and have it's share number of players at the highest rank in MD
Often when you draw them, you can discard them by searching for inheritance, although in the case of Winda, you would need a non-psychic spiritual beast in hand
So I just started Ritual Beast on master duel but I’m running salad cards in my deck & I love it a lil more. I still fuck up lines but it’s really like my deck. I also like having eschatos & protos just in case.
@@kasterkju4980 the tag out wouldn't come out, teleport would ss Lara but the monsters from the defuse (both of them) would remain in the banish pile. Thanks for the comment 👍
The zefra build of the deck is good, although not as competitive as the Pure Ritual Beast deck with Nemeses cards. There is a content creator that goes by the name of Chu that recently made some videos about it. Here is his decklist if you're curious: ua-cam.com/video/G7jSnq9TGEc/v-deo.htmlsi=AGRxTgaII4Ub-OUd&t=173. Thanks for the comment!
The important thing to keep in mind when doing combos that start with Rampengu is to make sure you have in mind what are going to be the targets for Rampengu effect in the extra deck. If you are playing Ulti-Apelio this is way easier as Apelio is another target, also you might want to play an extra copy of Ulti-Rei for the same purpose. Just remember that when you start with Rampengu, you are going to want to most likely search OG Lara since Pengu banishes. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment!
My advice for all the combo lines is to remember the order of the extra deck cards summoning. So like remember what order you summon the extra deck cards in and what that card will do, like search, summon, add back etc
@@lelouchbritania5089 book of eclipse is really good for the deck because it can help you play around imperm, veiler and Nib. Also, it is a good board breaker card for the deck. I would definitely play it if you have space for it. Although with how important it is to play handtraps in MD, I'm not sure I would run it
Thanks for the comment! The main idea behind playing 2 is to be able to make Nochi turn 1 and turn 3. There are lines in which you would leave nochi on board and need an extra copy to go to later in the grind game. Also, in newer decklists, Nochi gets a lot of value when playing Cross-Sheep.
I think we can all easily say edygo is the goat of ritual beast. I wish there was someone like you for every archetype out there. ❤
I wish a video existed like this for every Archetype. You are amazing

almost finished my deck, only missing 2 shifter ulti gaia and colossus. feels like going back to school learning this lmao, thanks for the guide!

With elder rampengu : 1:24:16 is it possible to end on Ulti-Gaiapelio even though its banished? (Unless you play a second one of course).
Yes, you can end up on Ulti-Gaia, but you wont be able to protect the part of the combo where you summon Protos
If I’m not mistaken apo needs monster with different names right, so it won’t work with the elder cannahawk combo with kimufalko and the two sbt laras
@@ashkillss true, thanks for pointing this out 👍
For the first combo, Elder + Canna, what happens when you draw the winda or any of the one ofs
Often when you draw them, you can discard them by searching for inheritance, although in the case of Winda, you would need a non-psychic spiritual beast in hand
1:13:15 appo needs monsters with different names to make so you cannot summon it right?
Good catch, thanks for pointing this out. Probably have to go for another monster and do a 2 material one or go Gaia
