Absolutely shocked yet very happy to see that caboose on the end of that CSX freight train at 1:04:17 I've enjoyed this fine video and I too must ride the Acela before the new one begins service. Cool video!
great video boss those chargers can haul but i miss the old TOASTERS/ AEM7 s and the HHPs they were runners back in the day are they all gone or did they keep a few as back - up
Thanks dude !When you said chargers i think you were referring to the ACS-64s, correct? & i for sure miss the toasters & HHP8s i always rode them as a kid. Amtrak has most of them stored in the Wilmington Amtrak shop in Wilmington, DE. I still wish a few AEM-7s & HHP-8s were still running along the NEC line with the ACS 64s
@@xxontop_ytx2750 i know. I believe ACS 64s can speed up to 140. I remember Amtrak were doing a 4 to 6 year speed project along the NEC between NY and DC so trains can reach up to much faster speeds than the actual speed limit which is actually great. NJ Transit I believe are getting faster too overhead wires just needed a bit upgrading between New Brunswick and Trenton. Keep enjoying the high speed trains tho, got more coming
I love how NJ Transit speeds up to 135 MPH and Amtrak to 170 MPH.
That’s not exactly true (i wish it were) but NJ Transit speeds up to 110 & Amtrak speeds up to 150, back in that year it was 135 for Amtrak
the best amtrak train video that i have seen
Thanks man
I only watched 4 minutes of it and I love it. They really fly past Rahway. Great video man would love to see more like this.
i have lots more, thanks dudeman

Very impressive and to think the new acelias are going to run thru there at 160mph
Yeah I can’t wait to get footage of that
😅 man America really is decades behind on High-Speed Rail compared to the UK and Europe pretty much anywhere else😅
Man most of these tracks are jacked up 😂 that’s one of the reasons why

1:05:13 how do you know the number of the new acela train? Did you like find it on some kind of tracker or something, that’s my question?
It was posted in an Amtrak group on fb called Next Generation of Amtrak Equipment Updates
Commentary is interesting. Is the audio altered with? The voice sounds electric
Its th app i was using to put th video together
I had it updated recently
I like it electric trains in the USA and i think they are going much faster than the noisy and airpolutioned dieselpower trains !!

1:5:30 american high speed rail is here
Rare to see a caboose on that fright train
Yeah that shocked me too. And i caught it again in my newest New Brunswick video
that wasnt a deadhead that was a equipment move
I thoughts it would be th same thing
It is. Deadhead equipment move is what you would say.
@@greggt.4587 i would, i now say "NJ Transit equipment move" whenever sum like this occurs
Only in America is 80 mph considered fast
Only if your actually on a train going 80mph it seems much faster than it looks when not riding a train
Lol
