Lorient Reprise by Duncan Chisholm

'Lorient Reprise' - a return to the 'Lorient Mornings' melody played so eloquently by Matheu Watson on the guitar.
The second tune, 'Illean Aigh', is a Gaelic song which I first heard sung by Mary Jane Lamond. It is an incredibly powerful melody and when played as an air has a strikingly mesmeric quality.
The final tune on this track 'We're a Case (the bunch of us) was written by Allan MacDonald from Glenuig, a gift from one of the world's finest musicians.The track is performed live on this clip, accompanied by a core traditional band and a string / brass ensemble."
