I've had this, with 2 laptops actually. I never really found what was up with the first one, after buying a second I've ruled out the CAN cable FWIW. If the laptop is unplugged while the engine is running, you plug it in and it doesn't automatically start to read live data, sometimes you have to manually tap the "online" button next to "toolbox" on the top row of options. I'm sure if you call tech support they'll tell you to do firmware and software updates, never hurts to do those.
How do I reach out to you so I can get you to make me a tune for my foxbody? How do I pay you to do so? I just installed a Terminator x on my car and it's alot more than I have time to learn about for it to be done properly and done right. I would like to acquire your services sir.

anybody have any idea why my laptop doesnt want to talk to the holley? Usb is functional as it talks to other devices through it.
