I think it is safer going 100mph plus in the states on a sportbike than riding the speed limit in bangkok, that traffic gives me anxiety, you have bigger balls than me.
You are a very brave lady, you couldn't pay my enough to ride in that city. Utter madness, I was breaking into a sweat just watching this video. I will stick to riding on open road. Well put together video, excellent
Fascinating tour of the city and events, also a bit terrifying at the same time to brave that traffic at night, no less! Thanks for setting a good example with full gear. :)
They love their dragons and fireworks. Terrific show (and so nicely filmed). Well done setting a great example wearing helmet and riding gear through the bussling Bankok chaos, bravery, caution and skill (fear for all those pillion girlfriends risking it wearing neither).
Love all that mayhem and chaos! The mix of defensive and aggressive riding, risk thrill overload! But you are right, every road user is completely at one with it, that's all they know. So you can kind of trust their skills in the chaos and just focus on holding your own! What a rush×100!! This was great to see, well done both of you for having the balls and skills to nail that and conquer those streets. 👊👏👏👏
I could tell your heart was racing from excitment and nervousness, in bangkok riders are fearless lol. Great choice bike between enough power but not too much.
The best motorbikes for negotiating Bangkok traffic is: Manual: Honda Wave 125cc or 110cc Auto: Honda Click 160cc or 125cc; Honda Scoopy 110cc (these are perfect for shopping with the foot well and hook to carry stuff as well as under the seat. The reason is that they have a short wheel base; narrow handlebars and tight turning circle. If you want to be young and have fun: Honda Grom 125cc If you want to be cool: Honda Monkey 125cc or the new Honda DAX 125cc A good commuter and Bangkok city bike is the Honda CB300R If a shorter Thai, then a Honda Rebel 300 or 500cc A 300cc is considered a Big Bike in Thailand and well adequate. I say Honda because Honda have 72% of the Thai market and spares and shops for parts are everywhere.
You did so well. It looked like you had a great time. Good idea folding the mirrors in. I've ridden a bicycle in BKK but not a Motorbike. Drivers are totally aware of bikes. I have a scooter in Hua Hin, where I find its much safer to ride. It's a necessity as I stay 14km out of town. In my home country I have a HD
I’m in Hua Hin now. Just had a first ride today! Alone. It’s amazing. I’m still buzzing and can’t wait to do it again tomorrow. So much calmer then Bangkok!
What a cool and adventurous ride!! So many bikes, and it was so interesting to watch you going through the city!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I can say, though, traffic in the big cities in Brazil is a lot crazier than in Bangkok. Everyone is constantly changing lanes, like all the time there. Thank you for sharing such a unique riding experience!! 💯💯💯
Everyone should visit an Asia country the people are so nice, unfortunately I went to Thailand a few times but only on business so didn’t get much chance to explore, but I did live in china for a while and that was amazing, nice little video thanks for sharing your experience
Hello from Germany Deimante, realy enjoyed watching your recent videos, all the amazing bikes and places you showed where awesome. In one of the videos i noticed, you wearing a shirt and a sticker appliying with your "slogan" on it "riding is my drug". I was wondering if it possible to buy such a shirt and some stickers, because i can relate to that statement a lot and would love to support your content. Thanks for the great videos, keep it up!
On 1-12 December In Bangkok, there is the Motor Expo 2022. Did you go to this event? In this year's event, there are many new models of motorcycles showcased.😁😁🙏🙏
Tomboy_a_bit. Girl something is, agreeing with your trip to Bangkok. Coz there is a positive glow in your eyes and on your face. So whatever your doing, carry on enjoying. So until your next update, safe happy riding kido 👌☺️...
These Husquis and the KTMs under 390 cc are all manufactured by Bajaj in India...and apart from the South American and Asian markets, they dont meet manufacturing standards elsewhere...but i think the brands and working on that and they should be out over the course of time. Bajaj in fact is also in the middle of manufacturing the mini Triumph to try and get at the RE market in the UK!
Slightly chuckling at all the comments here. That kind of traffic is literally my life, personally can't imagine seeing roads without little motorcycles zipping between cars and busses.
I was thinking following my guide, that to him is normal, like all those schooner riders who grew up riding with they parents with no lids or gear. Only when you compare you see the difference.
@@tomboyabit A lot of them don't really have much of a choice. Lower incomes, car centric roads and cities, and inefficient/infrequent public transportation means that underbones and scooters are all many could afford whilst still being a part of the economic engine of society. As such, many small bikes are decades old and since proper certified riding gears (other than helmets) are expensive to them and traffic is so slow (and in the case of rural villages, non-existent), they are only worn occasionally in the rare chance they have a bike with a large enough fuel tank to ride across states.
@@IskDude980222 I understand that. In fact many people ride no faster then the cyclists in UK. 2 wheels here is not the luxury like in the seasonal European countries. It’s a transport. Like you say the most convenient and most affordable to many. Still to me each and one of them are riders. Most more skilled then those who can afford the bike as a toy.
Hello. Riding more than 40 years in Athens i can tell you it's the same shit. Also the 200 is not for E.U. market for the time. We have 125 and 250. Ride safe. Love and respect.
Best to get a scooter travling to these SE Asia cities. Narrower to zip between traffic's ,No clutch to deal with and you could one hand the phone for Gps . Since u can't get on motorway in Thailand on a bike anyway
I’m riding Duke 790 now and honestly can say I enjoyed a smaller bike here. Especially when got lost in narrow back gardens like streets in Hua Hin 😅 Maybe I should try a scooter next. Some roads so wide here that I thought they’re motorways. Thanks for telling me 😅
I love all the comments about Bangkok traffic, it's hilarious 😂I ride my Triumph Speed Twin almost daily here, you just get used to it. Check out some of my videos of riding in the city.
The reason is simple: Either you have the permission to only drive the 125 or you have the full license. And who on the earth would buy a 23 hp bike with a full license if the 44 hp 401 is available? And it has to be cheaper too. It just makes no sense.

You made it to Motorville, my RE dealer, just around the corner from where I live. A great video!
Fantastic video. I was scared of the traffic just watching!!

Great video, and very interesting the Chinese festivities. Thanks, and take good care and enjoy.

Looks like you had a lot of fun Dee , I don’t think Jonesy would like it there.
Jonesy is Honda. He’d love in Thailand 😂
All I can say is Wow, it’s crazy and exciting
thanks for the journey
When you overtake on the left between the curb and cars, look at taxis and buses as often passengers just get out.

For me; Bangkok is the best city in the world and Thailand is an incredible beautiful country.
Nice looking bike
Riding in Bangkok looks a bit insane. I am very happy you fit right in. Be happy, be safe
I honestly enjoyed it! But hey, I’m a motorcycle addict 😅
@@tomboyabit Just one of the many reasons you are my fantasy. Keep on being you!
It seems you were more comfortable (not counting HOT) in Bangkok vs London.

Exactly, just need to get used. It’s easier to get used after riding in other busy cities and if you have filtering experience.

Pedestrian Crossings mean nothing over there.

Very Dangerous.
I’ve noticed. Crossing the road is filtering 😂😂

no 200 in Europe, because of the no 2stroke manufacturing
