It wouldve been so cool if they added a bosw for completing the trail chambers like after completing all of the trail spawners u can unlock a boss room called the trial golem which is like a copper golem but on steroids
while i agree with this to some level, i still dont think they are actually listening to the community enough to make a difference. Take the recent bedrock drama for example. Or the copper bulbs. Just because they are adding cool things doesn't mean they are listening to the community. The same could have been said about 1.13, or 1.14, or literally any update that people didn't hate. Great video tho!
Very valid points, but I would argue Mojang is becoming a lot better at addressing player concerns (pointing to the example in the video of sprinting over a one block gap bug fix) and it’s not perfect and won’t be for a while, but good steps are being made in the right directions.
They are listening to the community tho, remember how they straight up reverted the new piston sound or how they reverted the fire and blast protection nerfs only a week after they made the changes?
nah there was never a time when Mojang didn't listen to its community as a matter of fact their community interactions are more prominent more recently than the time Mojang wasn't brought by microsoft
developers listen to their communities way more than you think they do. It’s just that the majority of complaints are often stupid and will actually make the game worse in the long run if they were acted on.
Can someone please tell me what's the name of the song in the background at the beginning of the video, I looked everywhere and I still can't find it!!!
Sadly this script was written a few months ago with unfortunate timing of being finished and released surrounding the bedrock news, I don't know very much about the situation and don't okay bedrock very much so I can't give an in depth opinion but I hope things get sorted soon and the community can keep being creative.
@@VaguelyGood Ahh, well I appreciate the explanation! Love the video ^^ Aside from this, Im just coping that the next update has something to do with the End 🙏
Great video! I do think Mojang is being a little more receptive to the playerbase than usual. I think the Combat+End Update is a much more deserving update than these smaller feature oriented ones. Hopefully they bring back Combat snapshots - an update like this could also potentially bring offhand usage and similar parity changes to bedrock, which, as a former bedrock player, I know is highly requested.
A combat update to bedrock would be super interesting, the system of Java is designed for the mouse so I wonder how they would translate some of that stuff on to controller.
@@VaguelyGood i dont think theyll implement the current java combat to bedrock, i think theyll make a new combat system so that they have combat parity between java and bedrock. the java combat system was an addition that the community didnt like.
Now they should bring some of the fun Bedrock features over to Vanilla like Potions in cauldrons, baby squid, and different sized fish. Also the harder Wither.
Can we keep in mind that the end is so incomplete that even parts of the end refuse to generate. No seriously part of the end is literally just void for tens of thousands of blocks because of a silly bug.

yeah, people have been riding mojang too much recently. I think the most recent update is one of the most fun and engaging updates so far, because despite it's small amount of actual diversity in features, there's still good incentive to go to trial chambers, reasons to stick around even after getting the mace (ie combat practice, breeze farming, xp farming, or just collecting copper block varients) and the crafter is a clear sign that they are trying to please the community.
in my opinion 1.22 should not add anything but remove things like a good idea is mojang should do some votes and the players will vote what block/item/structrue/mob/feature should be removed after they remove the worst things they can add something
There was no reason to add an entire mob though, all of their functions should’ve been added to glowstone dust instead. What’s worse is that you can already make sign text flow with the § key.
Im a bedrock player on mobile devices, since I have gotten used to the og controls, but in the recent updates, the controls have gotten a huge downgrade in playability to what Ive gotten used to using. It might be hard to see to a person who doesnt play it, but it made a big difference and came with many bugs that are forcing me to get a computer. I hope that they can find a way to keep their new designs while also fixing the hitboxes
@@megaman37456 well obviously mojang wouldnt be listening when its bedrock. on java, things are a lot better then they are in bedrock. btw xbox is bedrock. Also, dont thing that its mojang's fault, microsoft has a lot of control over mojang.
I think the mace needs some rebalancing because as it currently stands, it actually does not require that much skill to use. With a simple wind charge blast and the wind burst enchantment a chain can be done. Of course mojang doesn't really care, but this also presents an issue for anarchy servers such as 2b2t, where hacked clients are allowed and, as of recent times, updates to the newest versions are becoming more and more frequent. It will only take so long for client devs to create ways to send fake height packets which will increase the damage of the mace to such a point that nobody will be safe. Of course, a damage cap would ruin it quite a bit, but I think it may have to be done to prevent the mace from becoming the most irritating weapon in the game. Mojang will either have to nerf the mace, or create a proper counter to it that isn't just hiding.
i think the reason why theres barely any updates is because there isint much to add since some of the mods that people what in the game just doesn't fit minecraft and minecraft is a sandbox game, you can do anything, the only reason why some people are complaining on there being no updates is because either they somehow did everything in the game or just aren't creative enough, theres more to minecraft than just beating the ender dragon.
I think there is still quite a bit Minecraft could have in it but I do agree that Minecraft being a sandbox means people can find a lot of fun in the game they didn't realise was there.
I'll like for mojang to some how add a extra step to the mace by mixing it with a step with an anvil like your forgeing it and not crafting like it just fits like a puzzle piece but I have lots of ideas for them but only if I new how to make or have a computer for mods
I think they should fix Multiplayer, its difficult trying to play with friends in Bedrock You cant play in other friends worlds without them playing in it, and you cant even share worlds or have a server without that Realms Membership thing
That would require a bunch of Microsoft servers running 24/7, for free. Those are expensive, so it makes sense Mojang/Microsoft want you to pay for it.
@@VaguelyGoodYou brought up examples from before everyone started complaining about Mojang not listening, such as combat snapshots. no. wolf armor was meant to protect wolves that could possibly fall into lava pools due to bad ai, and make wolves more useful. Nerfing wolf armor would be a terrible change, since mojang buffed it due to the community demanding that it get a buff.
i just want java and bedrock to have the same features like 3x3 piston doors like almost no one makes them on bedrock there are some tutorials out their but Redstone being different from java makes me sooooo mad
End update. Gardening update. New dimension to explore that requires the elytra to cross the place (only fair to get one high up in the sky). An armory update that can allow for combining armours to reap the benefits of both (if one piece is special like the elytra example before). To be honest, I'd take a Paleontology update. We have the brush. Why not also get the benefits of digging up fossils to display or even bring back to life with potential risks? Even requiring frogs as a nod to the Jurassic movies.
These all sound like great ideas but mojang would also have to think about whether updates improve everybody's experience of the game - which requires a lot of testing and workshopping.

-Have only brought back a single vote loser of either kind over the span of seven years
-Added many features that still are barebones, most of which single-use at best
-Comes up with nonsensical reasons to not add certain functions like dolphin riding (This is the same game where you can bait goats to break horns)
-Parity still being barely close for about eight years
-Still haven't added a literal bag for over three years
-Still haven't added a proper function to the fletching table for over half a decade
-Not being able to add sharks for bullshit reasons
-STILL no end update
-Outright REFUSING to fix UNPLAYABLE bugs on bedrock
-Monetizing things that should be free
-Changing the copper bulb
I agree with some of your points, and I'm hoping you've heard all of my arguments - but I do just want to make it clear I'm not saying mojang is perfect, just that the most recent update seems to suggest quite an improvement for the company.
@@VaguelyGood yeah, they ARE getting better
Wait did you copy my comment
great news we now have a bag
@@benginaldclocker2891 Only took them about four years
It took them 10 years to add several wolf textures 💀
Along with many other things
They have other things to do y’know
You guys only starting begging for them like 2 years ago, so I don’t see your point
@@ThatGuyRNA its just 8 textures bro

Honestly all I really want is an end-like dimension that actually has fantasy biomes
or just update the end to have cool new biomes!
@@VaguelyGood I mean maybe but it's very different from the overworld and nether, sure they both got new biomes overtime but the end feels like it's meant to be that way, I guess they could add biomes to the end but that might ruin the end game feelings of the end, but I'm desperate for new wood variants, espesially green wood since it's the only color we haven't gotten yet
@@CutWatGreen and purple wood.
@@JaydenHolland-wo4fd yeah id argue that crimson is purple enough but if it's not then we also deserve a more blue-like wood since warped is kind of at an inbetween of green and blue
Also forgot to mention white and black, and gray too I guess if we're just going by most known "colors" but honestly we don't need these colors of wood, I just really want a green wood
Though, if you count bamboo, I guess we do have a green wood already, but that doesn't really count in my eyes
they need to upgrade their poor dungeons first lol.
its nice to see a youtuber that doesnt complain about everything and yell “LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE” in my face every 5 seconds
If they were to finally add a desert update, a cool new feature would be a potion that turns mobs into husks. It could be the effect husks give instead of hunger too and would overall be popular because you can only turn zombies into drowneds right now
I just discovered this channel, it’s surprising you don’t have more subscribers with this video quality!
(Instant sub)
Thank you so much, on the way to more subs but gotta throw a few more videos out there haha
Thank you for the support!
Oh if I learned something about roblox, whenever this happens they will somehow calculate how to fumble so bad to the point that you don't think that they care about the community. I'm kinda thinking the same here but I feel some hope this. Plz mojang don't fumble like roblox
the wolf armor is so good. a creeper exploded on the second story of my house and my wolf was blown out the window and he still survived because of the armor
Welcome back. It's only been 5 months lol. But I understand, life happens. But seriously tho don't die again
I'll try not to die again, exams have been tough but it's summer where I am now and hopefully more VaguelyGood!

Wolf variant in the Badlands is my favorite
We just gotta wait ten years for the end update!😊
Monjang need to add features from spin offs to the main game cs I wanna see more bosses like the wither storm or red stone golems to the game
🧑🚀🔫🧑🚀 Always have been.
I feel like a lot of people forgot that a lot of the main features in 1.20 were features that the community had wanted for many years.
In a way all features that get added have been wanted at some point because the player base is so huge.
This guy's videos is rlly good! Why the channel have so little subscribers :(
Thank you so much! I've only got 8 full length videos so hopefully after a few more some more subscribers appear haha
4 seconds in and LEGACY MINIGAME MUSIC WOOOOOOOOOOO!
They definitely should add in those songs as music discs.
THE SONGS ARE SO GOOD I AGREE
This video is so satisfying to watch. It's just very well made and edited and the mic quality is just great! Reminds me a bit of Scruffy's videos in terms of style!
Thank you so much! Comments like these make my day :)
There should be an enchant called “friendly fire” making it impossible for you to damage allies directly with weapons
extremely underrated channel, editing is so good and satisfying to watch
keep it up man 💪
Where did you find that bedrock texture?
A website called vanilla tweaks it has so many useful things I highly recommend!!
I think the end needs a total rework like the nether got with new biomes new mobs and maybe a new type of armor
Mojang was listening for a while. The players just needed to notice.
In a lot of ways yes, it's just the mistakes the company makes seems to reset people back to thinking they do nothing which is annoying.
@@VaguelyGoodI for once acknowledge that every single freaking company makes mistakes, and still think that Mojang listens, it’s just that Microsoft screws them over like most of their studios sadly
@@VaguelyGood To be honest I dont think people realize Mojang wants to listen but daddy Microsoft was forcing them to do things they didn't like
SCUG!!
@@undeadtrile8370Microsoft has nothing to do with their development
New over world structures would be cool because the new updates add barely any mobs like the bogged spawn in mangrove but most people want mob votes not to be bad like most of them
It wouldve been so cool if they added a bosw for completing the trail chambers like after completing all of the trail spawners u can unlock a boss room called the trial golem which is like a copper golem but on steroids
a trial boss would be so cool to see!
Where did you get that monang skin in the thumbnail?
while i agree with this to some level, i still dont think they are actually listening to the community enough to make a difference.
@@lazarpetrovic1671also they actually buffed the fire and blast protection enchants and said that they want to work more on improving those enchants
nah there was never a time when Mojang didn't listen to its community as a matter of fact their community interactions are more prominent more recently than the time Mojang wasn't brought by microsoft
developers listen to their communities way more than you think they do. It’s just that the majority of complaints are often stupid and will actually make the game worse in the long run if they were acted on.
Can someone please tell me what's the name of the song in the background at the beginning of the video, I looked everywhere and I still can't find it!!!
Double Time (Tumble) from the Minecraft Minigames, it's super fun!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
I refuse to believe that Microsoft is good until they change back the copper bulb
I'm happy that were getting more and more requested features nowadays, though I'm kinda distracted with the whole Bedrock BDP change situation
Love the video ^^
Aside from this, Im just coping that the next update has something to do with the End 🙏
Such a great video. Thanks for not just fueling the fire!
I’m glad you enjoyed it, I thought it’s a good idea to put some positivity out there
@VaguelyGood definitely, keep it up my man.
Also those minecraft sound affects are so good, why didnt i think of that before
They need to focus on every bug that has been reported about android phones having enchantment glint bug
Sadly they've got to focus on so many parts of the game at once some seem to get pushed away :(
I can't wait for the next combat snapshot, been waiting on that one for a good while now.
I hope they focus on the mace and getting it super fluid with other weapons
Can we keep in mind that the end is so incomplete that even parts of the end refuse to generate. No seriously part of the end is literally just void for tens of thousands of blocks because of a silly bug.
Sweeping edge should not hit the dog i cant believe they still havent updated that 1:23
I feel like we might see a end update very soon.
Please 🙏
Thats the neat part, we did.
Fr tho i really want one too! They could give it the same treatment as the neather and they could add some of the end mobs from minecracf dungeons. That would be amazing imo
@@dannyboi1706 i wish they dont make the end feel alive like they did to the nether cuz the point of the end is being empty.
it could have more kinds of plants and prob some new mobs.
@@moobqufad-ge8et i kinda wish they would because once you get the elytra theres literally no reason to ever go back unless you wanna re-fight the dragon

People were thinking the end ubdate would be 1.19-1.21 do yall think 1.22 end update?
nah
finally a video that doesnt hate on mojang. I was excited for the Combat Test Snapshot thinking itll drop on 1.21 but it seems like thats not the reality, overall i love your vid and the vibe you give in this video!
Let's hope to a combat 1.22! (And end update 😭)
Now all we need is the Iceologer back and i can die happy.
Also we need some mobs from dungeons in the base game
more pillager variants please
@@VaguelyGood Yes! Id also like to see the mobs from the echoing void dlc if we get an end update. And id also like to see the whisperer from the jungle awakens dlc. It would make the jungles a little more dangerous.
I kidnapped and trapped 3 armadillos by my house just for the scutes
Need them scutes
Cool editing style
yeah, people have been riding mojang too much recently.
I think the trial chamber is an amazing milestone in that if future structures are a similar level of details it would be so cool
Fun fact: You can play football with armadillo in Minecraft
that sounds like it would hurt
in my opinion 1.22 should not add anything but remove things
like a good idea is mojang should do some votes and the players will vote what block/item/structrue/mob/feature should be removed
after they remove the worst things they can add something
glow squid is honestly my goat, it may only have 2 uses but I utilize them in pretty much every other build. sniffers on the other hand... sheesh
What do you mean sniffers lay eggs and sniff seeds, super useful!
not
Nah glow squid is cool, it's a gamechanger for multiplayer since it makes sign way more readable
True about the signs, but I hate just seeing it dying every time I go mining
There was no reason to add an entire mob though, all of their functions should’ve been added to glowstone dust instead.
What’s worse is that you can already make sign text flow with the § key.
@@EmperorPenguin1217I dinno they pretty imo
Im a bedrock player on mobile devices, since I have gotten used to the og controls, but in the recent updates, the controls have gotten a huge downgrade in playability to what Ive gotten used to using. It might be hard to see to a person who doesnt play it, but it made a big difference and came with many bugs that are forcing me to get a computer. I hope that they can find a way to keep their new designs while also fixing the hitboxes
Sadly I don't play bedrock very much, but I can see why such a significant change would have huge impact - I hope things get sorted soon!
What’s the song at 2:54 🙏🏾

Mojang aren't listening, they haven't been in almost 6 years.
I think they've been getting better, I really do.
@@VaguelyGood They haven't. As an Xbox player Mojang is the most incompetent dev under microsoft, yes I'm including 343 in that statement.
@@megaman37456 Well then, you're just wrong
@@megaman37456 well obviously mojang wouldnt be listening when its bedrock. on java, things are a lot better then they are in bedrock. btw xbox is bedrock. Also, dont thing that its mojang's fault, microsoft has a lot of control over mojang.
@@qhofuoiwa-x4e I mean I still have the OG Xbox One Edition, the superior edition imo.
Its great news to communiry HOWEVER,MOB VOTE still has dramatic problem
Mojang will either have to nerf the mace, or create a proper counter to it that isn't just hiding.
i dont think they should really have to balance the game around people hacking
like that's very much something out of their control and purview
It's quite a bit more effort than just whacking a zombie with a Smite 5 sword, and chaining Wind Burst might be tricky because the player *can move*
*PLEASE MOJAAAAAAANG BRING BACK THE HOLIDAY CREATOR FEATURES !1!1!1!1!!1!1!1!1!1!!*

Class video mate! I started my MC channel a couple of weeks ago and loving it!
Glad you're enjoying content creation! I hope to see your channel grow more and more :)
i think the reason why theres barely any updates is because there isint much to add since some of the mods that people what in the game just doesn't fit minecraft and minecraft is a sandbox game, you can do anything, the only reason why some people are complaining on there being no updates is because either they somehow did everything in the game or just aren't creative enough, theres more to minecraft than just beating the ender dragon.
I think there is still quite a bit Minecraft could have in it but I do agree that Minecraft being a sandbox means people can find a lot of fun in the game they didn't realise was there.
A variant of the mase made with a blaze rod would be dope
Some kind of wither related item instead of the heavy core too, maybe it could even have a fire shockwave instead of the wind burst!
I'll like for mojang to some how add a extra step to the mace by mixing it with a step with an anvil like your forgeing it and not crafting like it just fits like a puzzle piece but I have lots of ideas for them but only if I new how to make or have a computer for mods
I think they should fix Multiplayer, its difficult trying to play with friends in Bedrock
You cant play in other friends worlds without them playing in it, and you cant even share worlds or have a server without that Realms Membership thing
Bro wdym it’s designed to be easy to use multiplayer
That would require a bunch of Microsoft servers running 24/7, for free. Those are expensive, so it makes sense Mojang/Microsoft want you to pay for it.
MOJANG!!! ADD FUNCTIONALITY TO THE SNIFFER AND MY LIFE IS YOURS
I just want more golems....I'll take clay golems at this point.
Please Mojang, more golems!
Mojang is FINALLY Listening❌
GLAZING Mojang for 7 ½ minutes✅
Can't argue that too much tbf
@@VaguelyGoodYou brought up examples from before everyone started complaining about Mojang not listening, such as combat snapshots. They were paused before that phase, being an example of mojang NOT listening
I understand why they were paused while caves and cliffs part 1, 2 and 3 were developed, but they could
have resumed them with 1.21
They were mostly listening before 1.20-1.21, the only bad parts were voted mobs, but the rest of the game was great and nobody was complaining. 1.22 can finally fix the streak of bad updates
I am surprised that you didn't mention the auto crafter, people wanted that for ages
Yes it's such a requested feature and super cool, but it also seems the player base has forgotten about the block which is super sad
The only thing left is vertical slabs and the end update
I do wish they made the mobs drop items again, though
Mojang nerf the wolf armor.
no. wolf armor was meant to protect wolves that could possibly fall into lava pools due to bad ai, and make wolves more useful. Nerfing wolf armor would be a terrible change, since mojang buffed it due to the community demanding that it get a buff.
so underrated for such high quality content!
Thank you so much!
i just want java and bedrock to have the same features like 3x3 piston doors like almost no one makes them on bedrock there are some tutorials out their but Redstone being different from java makes me sooooo mad
Now this guy makes sense
They literally just made it harder to mod bedrock in purpose
It seems really confusing the recent changes
and the head of the marketplace is having a public meeting about that recently, i think theyre actually gonna add it back(?)
Are you talking about the Holiday Creator Features? The new system might be harder to learn, but I believe it's quite a bit more powerful. I've heard comparisons to the Execute command change.
If the next version is and end update, it would suit well if a combat update went along side it since that's what happened with the last end update.
the copper bulbs though, blatantly ignoring us
