Lena, I think you can be very happy with your life. If your father had not emigrated to America you would not have this high standard of living now. You would live in some miserable shack without electricity, water or sewage. So don't forget the country that gave you all that you have.
To your point of what makes you happy especially at a time that is even hard to smile anymore . The day was over and I got my pyjamas on and after I brushed my teeth I put my beautiful bright red lipstick on, my husband was baffled and asked ( going somewhere dear?)yes to the couch! I know you're not perfect, and I find it inspirational that you're pushing through life. One thing that I learned from 2023 is we should try to celebrate simple things that happen every day in our life, like how easily we are able to put contact lenses today, how perfect the amount of salt we put in our food is today, or just waking up at 3, knowing we still have time to sleep before fajr.
I find all of this trite and superficial and unrelatable. You’re cleaning your million dollar house giving us lessons in humility. I always come back to this channel to remind myself how grateful I am that I’m not fake.

I love this video🤍it’s funny that you say you compare yourself to others because many of us compare our life to yours. I did for sometime watching your vacation vlogs looked so fun as someone who is 22 and has a 3 year old I never have I ever taken a trip never stayed in a beautiful hotel room. I live in Texas and many are really struggling just to buy groceries. Myself included I am starting my modest journey as well and I don’t have any abayas or hijabs I use pjs and a piece of cloth for my hair when I pray. I work and take care of my son everyday I work from home I’ve never had any help other than my husbands. I have mental breakdowns sometimes but this whole Palestinian situation has made me look at my life so different. I am so great full everyday. I’ve learned not to compare my life anymore we all have a different paths. Comparing yourself will never bring anything good you can look up to someone for motivation but never feel sad. Aw Leena! Love the maturity and realistic nature of this video! Well done for being honest with yourself your sisters have a good example to look up to in sha Allah. One thing I noticed, is I'm not actually breathing normally whilst doing all my house chores and errands etc I'm actually holding my breath with the feeling of tightness and uneasiness in my body particularly in the tummy. This is a sign my body is a state of stress, the nervous system is not flowing! You might find somatic exercises that you can do on your bed for a few minutes a day beneficial for you they are so great for releasing tensions. This is something that helps me feel very regulated and together alhamdulillah, I hope it can do the same for you too. I recommend 'workout witch' on UA-cam. Much love X

This video touched my heart i have two kids ( 24 months/ 3 months) We are living our worst days since my son born because my daughter crying and screaming most of the day /every day for no reason ( I think cuz she is jealous ) and what’s happening in Gaza now hurts all of us 💔💔💔

I was just curious, as I am a Christian but have the highest respect for people who follow the Muslim faith and have been doing some more study about that path. Maybe it is for me? I look back on that season with great fondness - it is actually the most important and meaningful thing we will do in our entire life. I love your channel and your unique beauty. I am inspired by your modesty which I love, love, love. What a great example you set for self-respect with style.
I just wanted to say that it does get better. I'll be turning 40 this month and I have six children- from 4 years old all the way up to my oldest who is turning 19 next month. Every stage has its beautiful things and every stage has its hard things, but those first 4-5 years are like being in boot camp or something. I remember well the days where it felt like my husband and I were roommates because it seemed like we never had quality alone time together. It's a lot of work to be intentional with your relationships and time, but it pays off in dividends. Hang in there and take it one day at a time.

Aw Leena! Love the maturity and realistic nature of this video! Well done for being honest with yourself your sisters have a good example to look up to in sha Allah. One thing I noticed, is I'm not actually breathing normally whilst doing all my house chores and errands etc I'm actually holding my breath with the feeling of tightness and uneasiness in my body particularly in the tummy. This is a sign my body is a state of stress, the nervous system is not flowing! You might find somatic exercises that you can do on your bed for a few minutes a day beneficial for you they are so great for releasing tensions. This is something that helps me feel very regulated and together alhamdulillah, I hope it can do the same for you too. I recommend 'workout witch' on UA-cam. Much love X

I was just curious, as I am a Christian but have the highest respect for people who follow the Muslim faith and have been doing some more study about that path. Maybe it is for me? I'm not sure, but I'm willing to do the research and prayer to see. Also, I just have to say how inspirational the modest fashion is. I'm also on a weight loss journey and some of my old really skinny clothes that I'm working back into are very similar to your family's style. I just wanted to say that it does get better. I'll be turning 40 this month and I have six children- from 4 years old all the way up to my oldest who is turning 19 next month. Every stage has its beautiful things and every stage has its hard things, but those first 4-5 years are like being in boot camp or something. I remember well the days where it felt like my husband and I were roommates because it seemed like we never had quality alone time together. It's a lot of work to be intentional with your relationships and time, but it pays off in dividends. Hang in there and take it one day at a time.
