This is another version of the Dresden Plate block. I just did a small program for my quilt guild on this subject - our quilters😂 think of the Dresden Plate as either with a pointed top end or a slightly rounded top end (curved) - pointed top being the better known. But this is definitely just a different way of making this block. Many times it’s just a single piece of fabric, but I really like these strips of differing widths to create a fantastic- looking block.
Wow great project, something i would like to try someday. I sew no shoes, for the same reason, i need to feel the pressure on the foot pedal. I also just got a 1/4in foot, lemme tell you what! It's a game changer for me!
this looks interesting---my goal is to finish my 9 WIPS before i start anything new, but this might be something i'd like to try after those are done......i'll come back to this video at that time and look at it again.......i'm trying to use up my stash, so it will be a stash buster at best.....thankyou for this tutorial
Good heavens! You are practically in my backyard! I’ve been shopping with the ladies from Quilters Gallery since they had a store down in Charlotte - we call them “the Pizza Girls” because I’d his they do their fabrics using a round cardboard backing😄. We had them to our guild last year (2023). So - is this a pattern from Quilters Gallery?
Beautiful block! I look forward to seeing it all come together. Thanks for sharing!
Great idea. thanks.

Yes it is!
Like the Blu sashing better. Red takes away from the sqi.
I like bare feet in summer and socks in winter. I quilt, sew my own clothes and cross stitch, so it's a rotation on what's the priority.🇦🇺💜
Love it!
Hello I am new to your channel, did you leave your rotary cutter open? I pray you didn't, but it looks like you did. Thank you for sharing.
I’m really bad about that! Thanks for reminding me!
Hello. Where did you get the 15 degree ruler? Thank you for sharing ❤.
The shop that put on the class had them made.
I just looked on Fat Quarter Shop - they have 15 degree rulers by creative grids and Amanda Murphy
