Thanks. When I was just getting curious about aviation, I found that watching someone else's full flight really demystified the whole thing for me. And it seemed like it was something that I could actually do. I'm going to try and release full flight videos every so often. They also have the benefit of being incredibly easy to create. I probably spent an hour, maybe an hour and a half, making this video. As opposed to the summarized video (ua-cam.com/video/aT1yFimIo4w/v-deo.html) which took 4-5 hours to make.
Was there something specific that you found interesting?
@1dullgeek I didn't realize all the preflight operations that had to be done before takeoff. That really enlightened me as to the safety involved in flying. I've always been interested in that. Thanks for sharing. There's a movie, The Flight of the Phoenix, that is really good. Check it out.
@@ianshirreffs5604 you're only seeing the stuff in the airplane. I have an entire checklist of things I inspect before I even get in.

I love the old school look of the David Clark’s. I have the same headset and my wife uses the Lightspeed so she can Bluetooth music.
I have a pair of Quiet Tech Halos. And I really like them, but when my wife discovered they don't clamp on her head, they became hers.
Which is fine with me. I'm happy to give up that headset if it means she's going to join me for more flights.

Good luck with your training! At this time in 2021 I was pretty much exactly where you are. When I was on that side, this side seems a long way away. From this side it feels like barely anything. I think this side's perspective is probably closer to reality.
21:40 guard- I started monitoring in the really remote areas where I wasn't bouncing frequencies, I'd hear jets lose center and ask for a freq on 121.5. Interesting use for it. I only have one radio so usually I'm too busy using the standby freq.
That is an interesting use. I find guard to be an odd frequency to monitor. Meow.

100% jealous of your audio quality. To this day I’ve yet to get mine where it doesn’t take hours to edit out even though it’s probably tolerable enough to post I just can’t stand knowing it’s got that whine haha

Yeah I've gone into VUJ with the opposite assumption:
Me: Stanly Tower, Cherokee 6374W is 10M to the west, inbound, full stop.
Me: Stanly Tower....
Me: Stanly Tower....
Some guy on CTAF: FYI Tower closed about 30 minutes ago.
