I am considering buying a new Ural and therefore all the videos you make are of great help. Then I can see how maintenance and various repairs are performed. Thank you so much for making these videos. Greetings from Norway.

Funny how many now Ural riders came from Harleys🤔 we traded a Roadking Classic for our
2015 Patrol, it was our 11th Harley but 21st bike since 1971, although we DID have to get Another Harley after the Ural, turns out we could do Without all the “Leaning”... 🤣😂 so yeah, that was the 23rd motorcycle now..!! 😎👍

please please disconnect the ground before wrenching around the positive post - any contact will be an immediate short. If you have on metal rings - it can burn off a finger.
That said - I find these very useful maintaining my Ural. Thank you!

    Very good .
Just waiting for the GPR exhaust to arrive and be fitted to my new Ranger. Then I’ll be adding a usb on the bars myself. This has helped me , thanks.

Another great video, David. It is really weird, but I was looking at that exact USB port on Amazon today... good choice! I always have trouble engaging the threaded block on the battery, so this spring before I put it back in the Ural, I wedged some small grommets under them and they seem to work great and are permanent.

Thank you Alan. So far I like this charger, my co-worker Nik has had one on his bike for a couple years with no fault to function. Good tip on the grommets and just leaving them indefinitely, I should have thought of that before.

Is there a “switched “ power supply? I am hesitant to have a always powered anything. I ran my battery down once on a motocamping trip plugging a charger for a big whopping spotlite in overnight. I plug my phone into the side car plug now.
I have a ultra cool 06 Tourist bought new from Wagner’s. Still chugging along just fine!

The switch is in the housing of the USB charger itself. The rubber cap has a magnet molded into it, when you put the cap on the magnet pulls the switch closed and turns it off.

Not pertinent to this video, but when will you do a video on changing out the front tire with the spare? The two on the rear and sidecar wheel were excellent, but I need one more!

Hi Dave. The USB on my new GEO must have blown a fuse. I was only powering my Samsung S9. I will remove the seat and see what happened.

Just one safety comment: when disconnecting the battery for any reason, disconnect the negative first. Re-connect the negative last, when finishing.

Hey David! Arkadiy here with my 2015 Ural Patrol. I enjoy your videos! My Ural keeps frying anything plugged into battery. What do you think?
