FYI Access to this spot has been closed. The City has placed concrete rubble across the path leading in. It can be reached on foot but not by vehicle. I"m guessing it was due to all the illegal dumping.
that was a hog of a alligator gar you had on! I haven't fished back there in a real long time but I've heard of 6 to 8 foot gars caught there! Awesome video brother! Take Care and see ya on your next vid!
Yeah almost gotta use shark fishing tackle! I've hooked up on a few but never landed anything yet.. I'm sure you'll hook a monster next time you go out!
Can’t believe the city did that. Maybe it was cause of kids leaving trash. Wish they would fix the piers and sad that the tracks on OSO Bay were broken off.
Haha very cool 2GuysYakin! Catch that sea monster will ya? Subscribing for more cool videos and to support a fellow fisherman! Stop by JTgatoring and let me know what you think!

I'm goin back with some heavier gear and a game plan soon.

I've pulled out 6 footers
What time of year was this filmed?
Awesome video sir. I'm going to be moving near yorktown. Does oso creek have blue crabs, crawfish or shrimp? Thanks!
What lb test are you using? Medium Heavy rod? You remember?
nice video. I've never fished corpus... maybe one day
Thanks for watching
That's why it's called fishing, not catching.
I'm gonna try that spot out! 5 min from house fishing off the bank. Maybe some live shrimp
I. L0ve. This place ! You. Will anything. When. I able, i walked all over that place. ( learned to. Carry a gun too)
Cool vid. Something different.
Nice York town, it got blocked off
I canoe it
have you caught or anyone else caught any reds
Yep. They are back there. Shore fishing can be very slow. Kayak is the way to go but, ya gotta find em.
Where exactly do you pull off onto that trail?
right before the bridge on Yorktown coming from weber. over the curb and sidewalk. you can see from the road.
You u know where I can fish for alligator gar on oso creek ..from the bank
is that fresh water or salt
It's brackish. The closer to Oso Bay, the higher the salinity. Rain runoff goes directly into the creek also so it varies widely.
Can’t believe the city did that. Maybe it was cause of kids leaving trash. Wish they would fix the piers and sad that the tracks on OSO Bay were broken off.

Thank you Sir and will do.
Been back twice ... I'll get em eventually.
You should go back more prepared and catch a gar💯

Gars n Gators
Might be a red back there.
reds are in fresh water
The reds I've caught back there are very light in color. Almost silver. Catch and release...water is highly contaminated.
a gar would have bitten thru very quickly
That's what I was thinking. But, with 30lb braid on that rod I couldn't even lift the thing. Gonna head back someday with something more substantial.
2GuysYakin Maybe a shotgun. lol
It was a gar I've brought in a 4' on a trout pole with mono in mathis
