I was wondering how the director would get fascinated towards buddhism by being meticulous about their following on " No idol worship" and "one should not have desires" desires may leads to misery this was already explained in our Hindu Epic Bagwatgita in Chapter 2 which was written in between 200 to 400 BCE where Buddhism was found in 6th century.
