Sailesh Kolanu is a film-maker by incident, not by accident. No wonder you are a Ph.D. man. Your application of learning to life is inspiring. I am sure people are empathetic towards you on that journey. One important thing is the way you organize your thoughts to communicate them.
I have watched till 36 minutes of this video and feeling like Sailesh’s story is very good enough that can be a very good movie. Anyone else felt that…?
His childhood, memories with his dad, moving to andhra, first movie, professional career, short films, Cinema chance and first movie (with Dad’s fears)
Yeah.. i felt that too...his arc from asking nani to give him time to figure stuff out for a year. doing 3 short films in that span of time. Re-visiting how he learnt film-making, risking a secure life style to chase his dream of being a film-maker, how his wife,family supported him, building confidence in his zeal as a filmmaker. I think this scenario will make a good full length film, if done right.
Man this gotta be the best thing that's happened to the Telugu cinema interviewing/podcast space in a long long time. I've loved every single podcast so much!
