I am not even joking that this dropping MADE. MY. MONTH. I wasn't as much as a silly nervous fool as I thought I was yaaaaay 😜😅🤩🤣 Honestly also brought back memories of a huge highlight of the summer (if not THE highlight), this con was just so incredible 🤩💙 And Red Sawx (😉), cannoli, Italian and Irish heritage, history: so many lovely aspects of New England in this episode. Just makes my heart so happeee 💙 THANK YOU Billy and Dom for answering my questions so graciously (sorryyyy other people in line for taking so much time!) and for being your stellar selves ✨️🥰....and to the whole crew who helped this come together and fellow audience members (it takes a village folks!!). Big oniony, friendshipy love to all!! 🧅💙
25:05 Haha you can tell Dom also watched Blind Date growing up! "What's your name and where d'you come from?" That was Cilla Black's famous line. Aww miss her and that programme.
Am so happy to have seen this Boston episode as my good friend Kathryn (Dancer and Yogi) gets to ask a couple of questions 🥰🥰 really good questions! Also the banter on the show keeping it clean just was Brilliant!! 😁 loved the eat the world section. All in all another great TFO! Thank you again. Keep up the great work 🙌 So love this podcast, best ever!
I love that story about the Christmas truce even though parts of it have gotten romanticized over the years. It's actually from World War I (1914) because both sides were in their respective trenches when it started. They came out of the trenches to kick around a football in no man's land. I believe there was at least one movie made about it.
20:08 Oh, Billy, you were right the first time! It was Robert the Bruce in the cave with the spider 😂 I know this because of an audio drama I have in which YOU, Billy, played a character in!!! The audio drama is called In Freedom’s Cause and Billy played the character Sir John Comyn 23:56 Aww, that is the perfect superpower to give to Dom! He would LOVE that 😄 I love how Dom's face just lights up in a smile after Billy gives his answer 🥰 27:23 Aw, poor Dom lol 🤣 37:54 lol Elijah being the easiest to prank and Sean backing Billy and Dom up about them being able to read each other's minds 😂🤣🥰 39:21 Oh my goodness lol 😂🤣😂🤣 That little story cracked me up. Thank goodness it wasn't true! 😅😂 45:18 "Pizza? There's a restaurant called Pizza? I'm going there! I wonder what they serve..." 😂 Lots of love to you both, Billy and Dom. Thanks for all the fun and laughs 😊🥰
I have a food suggestion I think could score very well on "Billy & Dom Eat The World" Cowboy Caviar: 3 bell peppers, diced (Red, Orange, Green for the best color) 1/2 Red Onion, diced and rinsed to remove some pungency 1 can of Black Beans, rinsed clean 1 can of Corn, strained 1/3 cup of Olive Oil 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar 1/3 cup of Sugar This could rival Giardiniera for its vivid bright colors, incredibly flavor, and usefulness as it lasts long in the fridge and works well as a salsa, salad, side-dish, topping ect. I got this recipe at a family reunion about 6 years ago, apparently a version of it went viral on ticktock a few months ago.
John McCutcheon wrote a great song about the WWI Christmas Truce called "Christmas in the Trenches." Here's a link with a great introduction about some WWI veterans who came to see his show because of it--they'd told their families and friends about it happening, and people wouldn't believe them. ua-cam.com/video/s9coPzDx6tA/v-deo.html
I love how the stories from history were both kind of wrong. The football gave was during the First World War and it was Robert the Bruce who supposedly watched the spider.😂😂😂
So the spider story was about Robert the Bruce actually, right? And the soccer/football Xmas truce match was in WW1 not in WW2; prolly cuz nobody wanted to play with the Nazis; Cheers! PS: I know, I'm fun at parties.
I kind of want to see Billy and Dom, dressed as Pippin and Merry, going about different pubs of the Shire and "Eating the World" in character.
They need to dress in character but have gollum chasing them in a red sucks jersey. Always chasing those NY Yankees ring(S) 😆
Billy making little plates for the audience was so sweet ❤
I was lucky enough to be at this wonderful show live, it was an amazing and quite jolly experience
Gosh I love these live episodes! The interaction with the crowd is really fun! I hope you keep doing live episodes!

This was so fun to watch live! Thanks for coming to Boston, it was an amazing weekend!🙌
when was it filmed?
@@johnlenz420 The 6th of August, I believe
Thanks so much for coming to our shows & doing your awesome podcasts live!
Thank you so much for doing this, Dom and Billy 💛💛❣️❣️
The more I see these two, well ... we'll leave it at me being quite the fan.
I need to go to one of these events some day

I saw Billy in Belfast. He was amazing! Dom’s accent was good 😊
Can you imagine, if they made a tv series about "The Adventures of Pip and Merry"?
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYAYAY🤩
Had to catch my flight back to DC so I couldn't go to this but loved Evening with the Hobbits. You guys were the best!!!

Next story Billy got wrong too 😁, it was Robert the Bruce in the cave with the spider, not Bonnie Prince Charlie.
@@jameshenry8563 That is what I thought too. I think he has told that story before and the first time he said Robert the Bruce.
I think the movie you're talking about is Joyeux Noël (2005), it's a french movie but I recommend it!
Thanks, Billy! Thanks, Dominic! 🧅 #TheFriendshipOnion
Billy wanting to see more feminine energy in women made my day 💕
Don't we all
I BIG fist-pumped then!! 🙌🏻💪🏼♀️
Thus was fun! Thanks for the lift!🥰
Now I’m just imagining Dom showing up at a football game with a Tupperware full of cannolis to share with everyone. 😂😂😂

Cowboy Caviar:
3 bell peppers, diced (Red, Orange, Green for the best color)
1/2 Red Onion, diced and rinsed to remove some pungency
1 can of Black Beans, rinsed clean
1 can of Corn, strained
1/3 cup of Olive Oil

Up the Irons! 🤘
Oh please do share Billy's video of Finn McCool and the Giant's Causeway. I'm sure it's delightful.
I miss Boston! Need to go back.
Just what I needed after a long day at work!
Bova's rocks!!! and its open 24 hours! Mmmmmmmm!!!
36:46 that front row lady's reaction to washington dc 😅 like "meh"

Cannoli are one of my favorite desserts, but I'm always skeptical of them outside of Italy so I hope you got the real stuff❤
Robert the Bruce, Billy, not Bonny Prince Charlie. He was on Rathlin Island, Northern Ireland, not far from the Giant's Causeway.
So 17 people came to this video and know this ONE crypto guy so saved them millions? Uhuh. these bots are getting insane nowadays
I got confused when Billy said Boston had wet cheese. 😆 oh he said witches
Dom's story about the soccer game between opposing soldiers on Christmas was during the first world war not the second :)
And I think it was Christmas Day not Eve.
I love how the stories from history were both kind of wrong. The football gave was during the First World War and it was Robert the Bruce who supposedly watched the spider.😂😂😂
Dom's butt is episode 2 of Moonhaven, seven minutes in. You're welcome.
We're early!
Billy and Dom, have either of you ever seen the Russian Lord of the Rings film? What do you think?
great
39:07 Not that Lovely, guys. Huge part of why/how the country's so far down the Shitter RN......
First (I know nobody cares 😘)
So the spider story was about Robert the Bruce actually, right? And the soccer/football Xmas truce match was in WW1 not in WW2; prolly cuz nobody wanted to play with the Nazis; Cheers!
PS: I know, I'm fun at parties.
why does dom sound like peter griffin
Robert the Bruce, not Bonnie Prince Charlie.
Boston red sucks fans are like Gollum always chasing the ring(s) the Yankees carry 😆 27
Watching LOTR as we speak! You guys are awesome!
