i love how you always get the clean white look, i still haven't mastered that, thank you qazi
You're welcome
Been waiting for something new 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I am doing this job for more than 20 years, and I still learn every day.
Being wrong or improving your filmmaker's skills sets is part of the job and why I choose this path in the first place. I never understand people that don't get this and feel their ego threatened by some shared knowledge or learning from someone else than themselves.
Thanks for the tips, your videos are always in my background, and somehow always get something new from them.
Appreciate the love brother. 💪🏾
Awesome work! Thanks Qazi for share your knowledge!!! 🙏
Of course
this is really looking so good
happy new year qazi. thanks for the new video.🔥
You too. Thank you.
13:19 That just blew my mind. What an amazing new function!

I feel lucky to found your channel through instagram ads about your free webinar 2 years ago. Thank you for sharing.

Great video. This is amazing! Thanks
You're welcome
You're a legend mate... you're so good in this 👏👏👏,
There's any chance one day you color grading a real estate interior & exterior showcase footage ??
Cheers
You Rock. Thank You.
I'm finally becoming less intimated by DaVinci Resolve. Thanks Qazi!🥳
This channel and these videos are amazing! Thank you for sharing all this knowledge with us!
Would be really nice if we could download the files you are using so we could practice along with the video.
You can download a ton of professional footage if you get my masterclass.
Best colourist on UA-cam, you should have millions views! It's a free school! Thank you🙏❤️
Ty
Lets go!!
💪🏾
Bro, invaluable! Big thanks from Russia
Nice Tutorial 😊😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Another great tutorial Qazi👍I love how far you can push Alexa footage. Being 16 bit Raw definitely helps with this kinda look. I’ve been struggling with my ursa mini 4.6K footage for a while now and I just can’t get the footage to look how a want it. I guess only being 12 bit RAW I’m limited and getting this kinda look out of the ursa is very hard at least for me.
Arri is 12bit and the footage I'm using is not raw.
I'm definitely going to do this grade on the music video i was shooting even though its 8 bit footage
global saturation!!epic!!
很棒的教程! 尤其对新手非常友好 希望以后能有一些免费的进阶教程
Thanks.
Let's goooo :D
I am following you from Turkey, hey you gave me a lot of information that at least I can color grade my videos getting them in a usable point because of you. Thanks for your effort to teaching all of us begginers. My stock footages are more better now and my those edited videos get more sales than past.. Thanks:))
Music to my ears brother. ♥️
Awesome video brother
Ty
Great video. Curious if you’ll make a tutorial how to correct footage from vintage lenses - like whether to dehaze, how far to push contrast etc
Weren’t you a music producer back around 2009?
awesome
Feels good watching this on a nice new 32 inch 4k hdr monitor.
Great tutorial... KEep them coming :) are you doing any sky replacement in davinci if so that would be great to do a video on that
either Casey Ferris or Jamie Fenn have tutorials on that. Qazi has stated before that he leaves vfx to someone else.
freakin amazing tutorial
🙏🏾
I LOVE YOU BRO 🇲🇦🧡
Qazi, thanks for that great lesson! Everytime! Can someone tell me where to put on these circles in the scopes showing you where you are pointing in the image please?
Hey Qazi, I have a short question for you and maybe you know a good solution for this.
If I have a node which is very CPU intensive like Noise reduction and I got different settings on this node for each clip, is there a way to activate/deactivate all the Noise reduction Nodes at once?
It seems the only way to do that is with a Shared Node or Groups but then the setting from this Node is the same for all clips.
Thanks for your help!
liked in the first minute just for your attitude
'Your DP ask you to add more character'
Waqas: ok, let's add more warmth
Me: add mustaches ._.
Amazing!!!!!!!! Hey, could you please make a video about Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare alley color grading process? Could be super!!!!
I'll check it out
Gud awesome
Thanks.
Wow
Hi just come across your you channel, just a quick question.
If you don’t know what camera the footage was shot on what lut do you add ???
Let's apply this techniques on the next FCM Challenge!! Thank you :))
FCM fam ✊🏾
This is so great thank you for sharing. I have been shooting on BMPCC6K in BRaw. Would you still use CST workflow for working with BRaw footage and would you ever use the Raw settings tab in DaVinci Resolve? If the LUT was attached to the raw file when shot, would you turn it off? I guess what I'm asking, is there a CST best practice when working with BRaw! :) Thanks in advance. ps. I found the tip applying the grain from the first node really interesting.
You should never, ever use a reference LUT in grading. I have the pocket 4K and I never use the LUT the footage has one it, it's off by default. It's meant for previewing better colour while shooting, not to help in grading
Thanks Qazi.. Hey whats the shortcut to rename a node..
nice metal G-Shock!
Ayyyyy! Mad respect for catching that. ✊🏾
waqas bhai kindly made a tutorial in premiere for colour grading
just signed up for your tutorial but it doesnt seem to be working? really excited to watch this
I'm building lookbooks for each project and it really works well ! As you said, very easy to create multiple versions once the initial look is dialed in correctly :)
Proud of you. FCM fam ✊🏾
@@theqazman Thx :D
So funny how, just watching at the teaser of the pro's version, I could tell almost every step that you took xD especially the vignette and the power window for the sky (works really well !)
Haha. That's so awesome.
I am just not sure why you aren't using Color Management using Davinci Wide Gamut, you don't need that last node. you are already mapping the output to 709 for the entire sequence.
Hello iam from tanzania i really appreciate your work, but i would like to copy color from queen of katwe and do a tutorial
Hi Qazi, I signed up for your 1.5 hr training and it was excellent. I stayed to the end and though I can't sign up now for the Masterclass I did wait to get the downloadable content (LUTs, etc)
There was no downloadable content link or mention at the end.
Can you please supply? My email is on file from taking the free training course! (not this screen name)
Qazi, I've yet to find someone to explain this to me in somewhat of a detail but what is it about 06:07 makes the video/image look so rich/thick in color? It just looks so, so different than the clip you edited. Even though what you did was fantastic, it just still looks way, way different in terms of color thickness/falloff. I dunno. Help?
I agree. I love Qazi videos but this tutorial fell really short of the look from lala land. The lala land looks so saturated and puchy and full, like you stated.
La La Land was shot on film and I could've easily achieved that look if I used a film emulation but I didn't want to do that. I wanted to show you how to create a pushed look with the default tools in Resolve without using LUTs.
@@theqazman Can you make a video on how to add the film emulation? I really want to know how this look is achieved. Please bro. thanks.
I have. Watch other videos on the channel. 😀
The free training video is not playing.. any info?
how to make shortcut of subtract yellow
Hi Qazi, Good Evening.
I'm one of your Subscriber, Can you help me ?
I record videos in my Nokia 7 Plus mobile phone, So please suggest me setting of " Colour Space and Transform" under Colour Management Project Setting.
This query may help others too.
Awaiting for reply.
Hi, I want to start color grading some footage, but I don't have it. Do you know where i can get log footage to download and practice?
Watch the Free Training
@@theqazman okay thankyou.
I followed the course but I didn't got anyway to download the footage and note tree, can you say where I can download it?
DM me on IG. Thanks.
Lol I like the amateur look more tbh - you should have saturated low saturated parts more, more saturation to green and blue dress and everything low sat. Protect the high sat obviously, and skin.
The hues on this pics dont make a good palette, so changing some hues also an option while saturating.
using the color warper on the sky is also changing hue on the left girl dress...how to prevent it?
With a power window
question, are we not using ACES Anymore
Depends on the project.
where i can find raw footage to practice?
