Do you have a solution for the weird preview card responsiveness where the image flattens out like a pancake when the width increases? That's my biggest issue with the theme and it drives me crazy. No other listing theme does this. I'm building a classifieds site with ML that is obviously image dependent and I need a 1:1 image ratio maintained on all devices. ANY advice greatly appreciated

I have seen that there are plugins to Automatically share the Post to the Facebook, But could not figure out to have this as part of the package for Listing Website. What you think? any ideas?
It's be easier to share manually once you know someone has paid for that listing because the last thing you want is for some incompatibility or conflicts issues.
Figured it out in case it helps someone else. The explore page will show mutliple listing types by configuring it in the side menu. This will create tabs for each listing which automatically recognise the listing type from the seach forms. I incorrectly thought there would be separate results pages

I’ve not used it with Croco or JetEngine and I suspect that it might not fully work. But-check out the MyListing Facebook Group as there’s lots of users and someone may have used it.
Hi Web Squadron, I really need your help if you could. I just got craze to build classified/directory website. And ended up buying mylisting theme after watching your videos. First of all I am not techy guy. Just watching videos and implementing those tips on my website. I am following you in your Elementor videos too. I am stuck at one point. As you know mylisting theme single page template do not support side bar. So I decided to show single listing page into any Elementor template which again they do not support elementor edit for single listing template. I noticed, on detail page of any listing type, there is option to write custom Block Id. So can we put some unique id and then go into elementor page builder and can print that somewhere over there. Like a shortcode or something. I try using short code [27-block id=""] and [27-block-id id=""] and nothing came out. I am sorry for killing your time in very long question. if i have multiple type of listings like restaurant, doctors, plumber, lawyer. can i have them all in search section. how will a customer search for each of them. i think search function is working on just one listing type. Or can the search function work on all listing types.
You could group them all into one listing type and then use the category to categorise them, but then you have to make sure the consistent fields are relevant for the one listing type.
How does the software checks that the email submitted by the customer when creating a new account. is legitimate? Does the software send anything like click on the email with the activation link, which then confirms the email submitted, to help submitting fake emails? Is there such provision?
Excellent tutorial! How would you handle it if there were two professionals using the same address? Will Map Box or Google maps account for that and not put their logo on top of the other or will they stack if it's the exact same address?
This does happen, and can be common with multiple companies occupying flats in the same block. Unfortunately they will stack - however, the Listing Cards will be visible individually.

i have an other idea, i can create a customs contact form with elementor and add this in mylisting theme. I can show the contact for example only for logged in users on the listing page. So if someone add a listing and add the contact form, it will only show for logged in users, BUT, if someone want send a mail this mail must go to the property owner, not to the site admin. I find your video very complete but I think you should take time and show the results in the front end what you do in the dashboard. It's very hard to follow a tutorial without seeing what is you are getting.
Like for example searching for ink (the "what") from a paragraph each one of the listing has, in a given state such as Puebla (tag word - the "where") for we have only 30 states (and thousands of products). No categories. Just products. Thanks!!!

@@websquadron What? MyListing does not require you to renew to get updates. The support service has to be renewed after either 6 months or 1 year depending on whether they have paid for the support.
Do you mean to search for Products inside MyListing.Then no, unless you manually add the products and then you need to mess around with Add to Cart facilities. Will get very messy.
Hi, Am I right in saying that the amount of markers shown on the map is equal to the amount of listings that are shown in the results area. So if a search returns say 400 results you can only view 20 at a time on the map as you step through every page of 20 results. Or do you know if there is a way around this so all 400 results are shown on the map in one go. Many thanks for any info you may have on this.
@@websquadron ok great thanks just i found a website based on the mylisting theme and it only showed 20 markers on the map at a time. So is that a setting in mylisting and it can be changed so all search result markers display on the map in one go and not 20 at a time. If so this is great as our users want to see all map markers in one go and not page by page. Thanks again!

May need your help soon. ;-) I have set up catagories for all the food types with main catagories then sub catagiries. e.g Dairy - Goats, Sheeps, Buffalo etc (sub catagories) When I add to the listing form it ony offers a multiselect drop down. It also doesn't view them in their full hiarcachy, but alphabetical as one list. This list if massive? Or when I do it as hiarcachy its really unclear that there are lots of sub options, and it only lets you slect one item under each main catagory? there a better way for me to do this or can I adjust it to make it clearer somehow. As it seems the ability to add sub categories dicates there maybe is?

You could just use the standard WP commenting, and then use other Plugins to handle spam. Crocoblock works fine with Hello.

You have to set up a taxonomy and then assign the child cats to the parent cats in the newly built tax.

if i have multiple type of listings like restaurant, doctors, plumber, lawyer. can i have them all in search section. how will a customer search for each of them. i think search function is working on just one listing type. Or can the search function work on all listing types.
You could group them all into one listing type and then use the category to categorise them, but then you have to make sure the consistent fields are relevant for the one listing type.
How does the software checks that the email submitted by the customer when creating a new account. is legitimate? Does the software send anything like click on the email with the activation link, which then confirms the email submitted, to help submitting fake emails? Is there such provision?

This does happen, and can be common with multiple companies occupying flats in the same block. Unfortunately they will stack - however, the Listing Cards will be visible individually.

You could create a field that is only accessible to paid members via a short code. Would that work for you?

i have an other idea, i can create a customs contact form with elementor and add this in mylisting theme. I can show the contact for example only for logged in users on the listing page. So if someone add a listing and add the contact form, it will only show for logged in users, BUT, if someone want send a mail this mail must go to the property owner, not to the site admin. Is that possible?

You can do so via Upload to Media Library from your phonr, but you'll end up adding JPEGs without optimum WebP Conversion. Use a WebP Converter.

@@websquadron What? MyListing does not require you to renew to get updates. The support service has to be renewed after either 6 months or 1 year depending on whether they have paid for the support.

Do you mean to search for Products inside MyListing.Then no, unless you manually add the products and then you need to mess around with Add to Cart facilities. Will get very messy.

Hi, Am I right in saying that the amount of markers shown on the map is equal to the amount of listings that are shown in the results area. So if a search returns say 400 results you can only view 20 at a time on the map as you step through every page of 20 results. Or do you know if there is a way around this so all 400 results are shown on the map in one go. Many thanks for any info you may have on this.
The map will show all regardless of the 20
@@websquadron ok great thanks just i found a website based on the mylisting theme and it only showed 20 markers on the map at a time. So is that a setting in mylisting and it can be changed so all search result markers display on the map in one go and not 20 at a time. If so this is great as our users want to see all map markers in one go and not page by page. Thanks again!
Is it possible to change the layout of the listing page? e.g. where each element, taxonomy is shown and alos all the fonts? How is it best to do this?

May need your help soon. ;-) I have set up catagories for all the food types with main catagories then sub catagiries. e.g Dairy - Goats, Sheeps, Buffalo etc (sub catagories) When I add to the listing form it ony offers a multiselect drop down. It also doesn't view them in their full hiarcachy, but alphabetical as one list. This list if massive? Or when I do it as hiarcachy its really unclear that there are lots of sub options, and it only lets you slect one item under each main catagory? there a better way for me to do this or can I adjust it to make it clearer somehow. As it seems the ability to add sub categories dicates there maybe is?
