Ngl they should just remove the ritual bar. It forces you to always attack which makes the defensive form almost useless. If you think that removing the bar would make him "broken" just nerf his overall dmg. Make him a tank that takes small dmg but also deals small dmg. That way it's funnier to play.
@@anonimfighter0613 i think the ritual bar is fine, if it had to be changed id say make it go down a little slower and in turn reduce the ritual gain from divine pummel, takedown, etc
@@BurgerSocks the problem is that it can easily put you in a catch 22 situation where if you don't attack you die bc the bar runs out but if you attack the person can punish you for a simple mistake and you die. Mahoraga is extremely predictable and easily punishable, that's why i hate the ritual bar. If the adaptation was a passive and not an ability i've would understood its exitence but since this is not the case the bar ends being just an annoying meccanic that forces you to risk again and again.
Pretty good video on mahoraga, one thing to mention is that I don't think the combat/red mode is any good and I primarily stay on special with defense highlighted, I really only every switch to it if the whole server is on the whole other side of the map and I need to move quick to get ritual

i had the exact same thought process as you until i started using takedown more, really opened up mahoraga for me
