Great video! Thank you. Beautiful coverage of a huge event. I think you have done this before! I grew up with tides and 16-foot water level ranges. But on the east Anglican shores, the closest I ever got to a “bore” was walking the tide in across the Westgate flats.
hi i lived in grange in the 60s and 70s there was no sea grass it was all sand and rocks up to the prom all the way along must do a roat trip bk to my old stomping ground and take my mini4 happy flying
Great vid'. Fair old flow there. More aggressive than at Arnside. I've done several walks across Morecambe Bay and two starting from Arnside to the open sands and then across to Kent's Bank. Both times knee deep in the Kent channel when that was reached. I was hoping to film the Dee bore again in February near Shotton, but very unlikely now I think :(
Thanks Stonecat. I hope you get to film the Dee bore again, and post it on UA-cam. Highest tide of the year on 30th March... let’s hope lockdown is relaxed by then.
@@robbridges5975 The last time I filmed it was in a February on the 20th, my birthday so I made the effort to treat myself at that time. Yes, I have the March tides ticked in my tide table and as you say, let's hope restrictions don't hinder anyone in their pursuits.. I'll definitely post any bore footage :) Cheers.

Lovverly ! I was born in Morecambe but inspired to sail the world for some reason....
Great filming, lovely corner of the world, know it well,
Good job, a sightly bigger wave than Arnside.
Well done. A lot of patience required. Seen this a dozen times at Grange but not filmed it. 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Thanks Malcolm. Hope you get to film it one day and share it with us.
@@robbridges5975 Cheers Rob, I remember when all of this was sand. Also remember the Lido open and dear old Cedric. 🙏🙏🙏
Very interesting thank you
superb !

Going for a walk on the sand bars is probably not advisable.
The quicksand might deter ( or detain) you too....;0)
