I keep seeing Genji players at lower MMR do this, and I have seen only one high MMR player do this. It’s where you dash the ground to lower the enemy players HP for a blade shot that will kill them, ironically I have seen only shadder2k do this, but he does it properly, and kills the person he does this to, the problem is that lower MMR Genji’s try to do it where they either do at the completely wrong time or they don’t kill them, because bad mechanics. Thought I would mention it since I used to do it😭
Necros what about make some videos with every aspect of playing genji. For example a video about target priority, another about placement in diffrent maps, another about breakpoints (nano, pocket …) just to give some tips of how we should play and think as genji

Even though im silver I feel like im playing much better than this player and it just feels nothing like my games. Do you know if I could do a VOD review or how I would go about it? maybe its because the enemies are pressuring them much more than mine?
To escape gold you should just win the games, I am also a genji main and I was silver then I decided I will climb the ranks so I got to gold and yesterday I got plat I was just winning games and I got potg almost every game

i just hit master 5 for the first time ever and im on console and im kind of struggling to play genji now like other character just seem so much more powerful like mccree and ashe can two tap u and there grenade and dynamite is basically instant death if you dont get healed and i find that every lobby i get in is very passive and there playing hit scan heroes like the past 4 games i have played have been against a mccree, ashe, mercy,sigma and a brig and they just stay grouped up its so annoying. i think i might have peaked i dont see myself getting a rank up with my skill sadly.
In those ranks you start to get very skilled players. It’s easier to be out in the open in diamond and below because peoples aim and mechanics aren’t that great. But in masters if they see you, they’ll outrange you AND hit their shots. Start expecting them to two tap you so plan different approaches where you have the advantage. You have to unlearn bad habits in positioning and take better angles and positions so you aren’t in LOS. Combos and aim have to be warmed up and on point. If you can’t fight, don’t go alone. Play your team.
