I’ve got the same exact infinity4ps scuf but I’ve chosen to edit with my L3, it’s pretty quick/clean & based the decision off of multiple controller players as well. Kudos man, keep doin whatcha doin

Good work dude! I got a scuff controller and it was so rough learning the paddles. I had to turn the other buttons off to force myself to use the paddles haha
I've been on linear for about 2 weeks now and im loving it, but i really miss the hip fire tracking that nick mentions. It's so powerful. My flick shots, building, and editing is so much better, but on linear my smgs are basically useless lmao. It's definitely a case of what u want.

I'm sold!! been using your legacy setting since season 5... I'm also not the greatest builder and I hardly use snipers, But my shotgun shots are on point cause I mimic your game style and positioning. It's so satisfying to shotgun someone and see their loot fly everywhere...

Love the Vids Nick. I was in exponential for awhile and kept dying to the “Drag” not actually going towards the player but to the left or right and totally missing them. I switched to linear and my aim is much better so far. I might try exponential again but from my experience it was hindering my aim rather then helping. Anyway, much love Mercs 🙏✌️

For me exponential was ok but id die in up close fights a lot until I turned my turning boost ramp time down a lot then it was just easy to hit any close range shots

Yes because I have some wack keybinds compared to others so I find myself seeing my settings changed or I can’t play at others peoples houses

You're very good at explaining and getting your points across. Switch to linear yesterday from legacy but I'm going to give exponential a try because I'm like you. Always been on controller.

I use sprint by default to clear up one of my sticks, and I know you mentioned trying to use L3 for builds or something different. For me it's not too big of an issue switching out of that sprint button and using it for something more useful in your case. Just food for thought. Keep up the grind

I've always struggled getting the right settings on Ps4 so ive tried these settings and ive been playing 1000% better!! You explained the settings amazing to make people understand em 👊 Beast mode! 😎
Really love this video I think I’m going to switch because of it. I know you said you didn’t want any advice but I use my left paddle to confirm the edit and my right paddle for builds. Works well for me :)
I used too, it works
right joy stick for builds is the best because you press it down and immediately pull it left or right. Its great for quicker reflexes when you get shot
I've got jump on l3, edit on x (left back paddle), build mode on circle (back right paddle), rest is pretty much default and it works pretty well. Only ever take my fingers off the stick is to use axe or reload/ pick up stuff which isn't a problem. Jump on l3 isn,t even hard to get used to as it is literally under the thumb you use to move around so you can easily do both at the same time.
Good shit Nick, thanks man. I'm still rockin legacy but this should give me a good starting spot for the new settings. For me, I edit with the paddle as well (I play with a 4 paddle Scuf however). Before the auto confirm edit, I would edit with one paddle and slide my finger to the next one to confirm (this is the right hand paddles). Currently working on learning to jump with the left paddle, just so many years to undo to make that switch.

i do believe expo and legacy help but thats the thing, with linear its all raw, so the better you good at it the less you will need that "help" linear is training your raw aim and lets you build like a wild man. ive switched to linear and i have work to do but my raw aim is getting better and better its like training. expo and legacy is like riding abike with those wheels on side so you dont fall.

I haven’t tried exponential, I jumped straight to linear and having such a great building experience that no way can I swap to anything else. My builds were my weakness, so slow and always losing high ground. Iv never built 90s so fast since swapping over.

Is it so hard to believe that your just that good with your aim. What I believe dawg is you played so much games from COD and many others that aiming became second nature, a no brainer. Most of us have it, many, do not.

Hey Nick. I use my L3 as jump, then i can use left paddle as build and right as edit. I takes some time getting used to. 👌😊
I use My R3 for jump ,left paddle for edit and confirmed and right paddle for builds and it works very good and pull out my pickaxe whith L3
I use L3 as switch mode and I like it for the most part. I think I may try exponential again because of you.

Deadzone should be as low as possible until you start to drift without touching the controler, then adjust it until that stops

I have it set to where i pull out my builds with my left analog stick and i go into editing with the right analog and it's so much faster and smoother when i go to edit best switch I've ever made took a while to get used to but i am definitely a better player
You need an impact bro. I’m new to scuf and I play weird binds so 4 paddles were the only way I could keep my thumbs on the joysticks all the time
I played on exponential but didn’t really feel comfortable with it. Changed to linear and doing so much better!

Thanks Nick im a 47 years old fortnite player i tried your settings and went from no wins to wins. I did alter a few settings but for the most part used yours. I got into the game to play with my daughter. She lost interest and ive stayed i love the game. Thanks man.
I dont like Expo personally, because I played on 900 sens before the big settings update and I'm used to flicking all my shots and when I played on Expo when I tried to actually aim how aim is supposed to work, it didn't work because it's doing the work for you. With linear it's just hard to find a new sens thats fast but I can also train it to be accurate
