I enjoyed the review & agree this is a superb figure.
I got mine here in the UK last week. The cape on mine fell off just by looking at it so I added a small amount of super glue to the pegs to thicken them and allowed it to dry before re-pegging it in. Problem solved as I can still take out/ re-plug the cape.
Awesome vlog, I did the head swap and it looks amazing! Now I am using the BAF head on the Joe Fix-It body for a "Dawn Of X Apocalypse" in a suit...

Thankfully, I was able to get the BAF Apocalypse, which is THE version I wanted for my collection... That goes back to my enjoyment of the original X-Factor team, and the whole storyline with Apocalypse & his Horsemen (which I hope we get someday... Along with the Stormriders!), Archangel, the Celestial SHIP, and just a LOT of really good stories featuring this massive villain.
I LOVE how awesome the BAF looks with the black cape on from AoA Apocalypse, and how good the AoA version looks with the clamp hand that came with Archangel...! Nicely done, man!
I won't likely be adding him into my collection though, because as you're aware, I'm not one of those collectors who's a fan of the almost entire AoA universe, and so have only picked up a few of them, namely Sunfire, Dark Beast, AND because of YOU... X-Man(ny), lol. I did see the deluxe Apocalypse on the shelf recently, but didn't pick him up, even though he does look pretty good... And IF I didn't have the BAF version, I MIGHT have picked this guy up JUST to have an Apocalypse in my X-Men rogues gallery until I could get a BAF version.
ALWAYS enjoy your reviews, my friend, EVEN when it's figures I may not even want or care about... THAT should tell you something about just how much I enjoy your thoughts and insights into whatever you review. You've caused me to buy figures that I wasn't originally planning to get, JUST because of your enthusiasm AND the content of the review in general... I’m considering getting this figure to go with my Marvel Legends Mister Sinister figure. There’s also a wired cape available on eBay that you can use to replace the cape that came with the figure.
Loved how you mixed your Figure with BAF Apocalypse but mine still in pile of loot in bbts can't wait to shipp him. One favorite second favorite villains which iDr.Doom is first. Plus love his design especially of age apocalypse which I grew up reading and loved the idea of shao khan throne chair him sitting on it. Would love Cyclops, Havok, Jubilee And Rogue

Great review as always! Mine's arriving on Friday. I missed out on the BAF but I'm more than happy for this to be my Apocalypse for my X-Men villains shelf since I don't have a particular favorite look for Apocalypse, and the head sculpts on this version remind me a lot of the 90's animated series, so I'll probably display him with the laughing head without the cape.

And yesterday, I found one Apocalypse! So another pre-order to cancel that wasn't scheduled until October. I actually saw a second War Machine at another Target, then it was gone. But I can help you out if I see another.

I loved this review because I have Gladiator separately and was not paying out the ass for the head. I have both the Archangel and the Delux and now all I need it the rest of the BAF which I really was not going to try to get but now I feel I can get the torso, arms and hoses (I already have both legs and have two Apocolypses. Thanks man. Very Helpful.
smart tip bro on the AOA Head...dont know why other collectors can't just make do for such opportunities..I did that when I bought some Terrax wave figures from a Ross sale, & my incomplete Dormammu legs fitting Terrax's....problem solved!.. lol!
Deluxe? Awesome AoA Magneto with those big ole metal boxing gloves he makes to beat on Apocalypse. Deluxe or two pack with Colossus and Kitty. Deluxe Warren Worthington III with huge wings. I guess that’s about it from AoA. Abyss maybe... Apocalypse is really just a behind the scenes guy in this world. It’s the X-Men who ate really featured. Non AoA deluxe Blob would be cool.

Like, why's this guy so special? we aren't gonna get the rest of the Imperial Guard. we have a better chance of getting the Legion of Superheroes from Mcfarlane lol

Looks great except shoulder pads n neck guard seem too squished together and head sits bit low inside neck guard or guard is too high. Open hand is nice and skull is great and detailed.
We still need another entire wave of AoA figures to REALLY complete this collection.
